      Mees Moving recently moved our household from ******, ** to ******, *****. *********************** provided an estimate and promised that Mees moving employs professional movers to disassemble furniture and load the household and then uses the professional movers from a local Allied agent to unload and re-assemble the furniture. We relied on Jordans promises of using professional movers and re-assembling the furniture when we chose Mees Moving. Mees failed to deliver on its promises or remediate the issues when brought to their attention. Instead, **** was disrespectful, dismissive and rude. Our goods arrived with multiple broken pieces of furniture, for which we are going through the claims process. Additionally, it appears that some goods were damaged prior to the move (while in storage at Mee's and were glued back together in an effort to conceal the damage. Most concerning is the level of skill of the individuals that were hired to unload and re-assemble our furniture. These individuals were day laborers who were being paid $200 a day and not professional movers. They lacked the knowledge needed to re-assemble the furniture correctly, many of the pieces which they attempted to reassemble were assembled incorrectly with parts remaining. Additionally, we paid $250 for a glass coffee top table to be crated and ********. The movers stated they were not responsible for the uncrating someone else would do uncrate it, it has been two weeks and no one has ever come out to uncrate it. We paid $1500 for warehouse handling, it does not appear that the furniture was handled in the warehouse professionally based on the damaged goods and furniture that has been glued back together. Additionally, a portion of the $17,000 (plus $250 for crating) was paid was for unloading and re-assembling furniture. We still have not received the services promised and paid for.

      Good Morning,

      Thank you for allowing our company to respond to this claim. We completed a move for the customer and provided the customer with all cost detail for the move.  The customer signed and agreed to all charges for the move. The customer paid the move in full.  I have uploaded the moving documents with the customer's signature agreeing to the terms and conditions and stating they received the items in good condition.  Allied *** Lines is currently processing a claim for the customer pursuant to the terms and conditions, and I would refer the customer to the claims representative handling their claims. ******************* can be reached at ************ and the claim number is 21138-2.  We have scheduled the tabletop to be uncrated and we have confirmation that an uncrating appointment has been scheduled with the customer. We are working diligently with Allied thru the claims process.  I respectfully disagree with the customer's claim that we were rude or that we handled their household goods in an unprofessional manner. This relocation has been completed. No refund or credit is due the customer.

      My wife and I paid over $5,500 in moving cost to this business for moving. They lost multiple pieces of our furniture and were supposed to call after attempting to locate our furniture. No call was received and my wife ultimately called. We still do not know if they found all our items and haven’t gotten a straight answer. Multiple times were broken but the movers and they are offering Pennie’s on the dollar for damages. They were not attentive to where items needed to be placed and for the cost this is ridiculous. One of the items is an antique WW2 picture where they broke the glass of the picture. We are beyond dissatisfied.

      I am rejecting this response because: I appreciate the 5% refund we were giving but the quality of service coupled with what we paid and the amount of damage to our items is still unacceptable. At this point there is nothing more I can do other than never use the business again or refer them to anyone.
