i put a deposit down for a transmission from this company on 05/04/2023 for $3000. total price of transmission is $5000. have receipts from them was supposed to receive transmission in one month. now its 10/29/2023 an still have no received transmission. i get the run around an excuses every time i call. finally last phone call between me an the merchant they told me theres nothing they can do for me about my transmission or money back. was wanting to see if you guys can resolve the issue before i get a lawyer involved. thank youInitial Complaint

I purchased an engine on August 3, 2022, which was delivered as promised. However, the engine came in faulty and once the technician installed it, it did not work. I contacted Planet Parts and requested a new engine asap as well as compensation for the work that the technician had to do to put on and then consequently take off the engine. Not only did they deny any sort of compensation for the cost incurred (which is more than the cost of the engine itself), but they also have yet to ship a new engine. Every day that my car is at the shop, I am incurring a fee. Ive contacted Planet Parts and received awful customer service. The individual on the phone (*****) argued with me the whole time, once I asked to be transferred to a manager, I got another individual (*****) who did not even ask me what the issue was but started talking at me right away. Both of the voices of individuals on the phone sounded similar.Business response

Customer contacted us stating the engine is defective. After getting information on the engine and videos of it running we went ahead and issued a warranty claim. We do not guarantee warranty time frames OR reimburse for LABOR FEES AS STATED ON YOUR HARD COPY INVOICE. As of now we are getting the engine ready, we are getting called daily by this customer and a gentlemen when will the engine be ready. Engines do not grow on trees. We have orders we are trying to take care of on a daily basis. Getting called twice a day by 2 different people gets really frustrating on our end as well. Customer opted to contact ******************** not sure what their point is.Initial Complaint

I bought a truck part they were unable to provide me with. They sent me a refund invoice. On the invoice it clearly states the money will be returned within 2-3 business days. This was sent to me on November 2, 2021, it is now December 17th. They refuse to give me an answer about what is goin on and all I want is my money! Attached is the original invoice and the refund invoice.
