      My insurance completed a vehicle claim through this auto shop. The date was around the beginning of June 2022. My insurance claim rep had sent the payment to the shop, but the shop insists that they have not received it. I have a deductible waiver which means I am not liable to pay it since I pay for that benefit every month. Now the shop is texting and calling me threatening to send me to collections instead of handling it with the insurance company directly.

      Total cost of repairs at our ******* location was $2011.78. Geico paid the shop by EFT $1511.78, less the deductible. Customer was sent a $500 payment from Geico for his deductible reimbursement which was never paid to the shop. Shop collected the $500 deductible from the customer on 7/20/22 and customer was not sent to collections.

      Our 2015 Lexus was taken to Kniesels Automotive several times to repair our rear bumper. After several failed attempts, we tried another body shop keeping Kniesels Automotive apprised. The bumper continued to have problems. Tom the owner of Kniesels Automotive stated that he would look at the car himself. After his evaluation, he assured us that it was an easy fix. Wrong! the bumper came apart again. I come to the BBB because Tom stated that we or our neighbors are responsible for the car bumper to keep having problems. Knowing that he stated he let employees go, I asked if one of his employees could be tampering with the car? he firmly believes that we are at fault and I can believe that he would have the audacity to imply that. A BMW and two new Mercedes are within a house of ours, why would someone want to pull a bumper and not the contents in a car. Lack of professionalism and trust is GONE. Apparently they do not live up to a 2 star or better.

      This is not a Kniesel's Auto Service Center client - we have never seen this client or his vehicle, rather we believe it may be a Kniesel's Collision client. We are separate companies, different industries, and owned by completely different people. We do mechanical repair as opposed to body/paint. I am copying that company's client satisfaction director as she would be the person to help resolve this complaint should it be theirs. Thank you
