I paid in advance for a full car detail; 250 total. I agreed to pay him 200 to start and 50 upon completion. This included both the interior and exterior. When ****** got here, he claimed he didn't have the correct tools to finish the job. I believe he had partially finished the interior at this point but had not started the exterior. He then contacted me and let me know that truthfully he did not feel it was in his best interest to return because of the "type of people" in the neighborhood. I asked him when he would return and he stated that he would not. He stated, "Returning would not be worth $50." I then asked him to refund me partially, to which he refused. I am seeking for him simply to return and finish the job. I would like to add, ****** did at one point claim he was giving me a "cheaper rate anyways," and therefore he felt justified in not returning any of the money.
