    On 6/16/21, we brought our 2008 Honda Element to Rocklin Transmission for a diagnosis and potential work. They needed to keep it overnight. At around 3 am on 6/17, we got a call from police asking if we knew where our was at the time. The police found drugs inside and arrested a woman and a man. The man was an employee of Rocklin Transmission. When we called the company that morning, we were hung up on. Later in the day, the owner, ****, called apologetic. He said the employee was never going to work there again. He offered to pay for the deep cleaning of our car and give us a break or fix the transmission at no cost. We waited a while, but decided to take it there in good faith. They had the car for over a week. We picked it up 8/18. The backseat was full of stuff that was not ours. We took it to police. Concerned this company is driving and using cars without permission. Brazen and absolutely horrible, if not criminal.

    Took my car into this shop to have the transmission worked on. I received a call from the gal the works the front desk with a price to get a process going on my transmission. I was told that it was going to cost $1,120.00 to do what is called an RBI. I was then told that it need to be paid upfront to start the process. I agreed and only because I was told that if there was going to be any other charges I would receive a call before anything was done. Two days go by no call. I call to get an update and was told that I would get a call back once she looked into it. Got the call back a few hours later that I needed to have two mounts replace and that it was only going to cost me $177.00 more on top of the $1,120.00 that I paid. I made sure to clarify this amount more then once and was told yes that is it. I go to get my car when it was ready and was given an invoice for over $3,400.00. I ask it this was my invoice and the gal at the front desk said yes that is yours. I then said this can not be right because I was told it was only going to be $177.00 more. I never agreed to the other charges nor would I have agreed to them. Company's like this should not be aloud to operate if they are not going to communicate with their costumers to get consent before proceeding. Now they want me to pay for something that I never agreed to.
