    I received a root canal from Dr. ******************** eight years ago. I had a dental emergency last week. They found pieces of metal from one of the instruments he used during the root canal embedded in my gums. I had to have an emergency extraction because there was infection from it.. I called to speak with him. ****** answered the phone and was very apologetic and compassionate towards the situation. We left a message for Dr. ******************** to call us back. He did not his office manager spoke to my wife. She was extremely condescending defensive and very rude to my wife, my wife Asked if they would cover the emergency surgery charges she pretty much laughed in her face, my wife is so upset she hung up on her. we called back the next day and left another message for Dr. ******************** still nothing so finally after leaving 3 messages we realized he was never going to call us back we gave up. Today I received a certified letter in the mail that was typed with an apology and started explaining that this does sometimes happen. I understand things happen but he didnt notify us after surgery that it happened or order any follow up x-rays. We simply asked for a phone call from Dr. ******************** to discuss what happened and he had the audacity to send a certified letter to my house, asking my wife to please stop calling the office and being rude which she was not, she just asked for them to cover the charges of the emergency surgery. compassion and communication go a long way in my book, Not to mention, the original root canal was paid in cash because we did not have dental insurance. on top of the huge dental emergency that I had and the metal that was left in my mouth during root canal he performed my wife had to endure the office manager *******. we are well known and respected members of the community we live in this dental office needs to rethink how they treat their patients.
