Called using a spoofed number saying they want to buy my house. I am on the *** list, and I have no desire to sell my house now or ever. This company among many others repeatedly ignore the *** list and constantly use spoofed phone numbers. in this case the guy said his name was ****** and called from ************. On a number look-up, this number does not come up anywhere - especially nothing related to this company he said he represents. When I called it back, the number is not in service.Whether this guy actually works for them or not, or was told by this company to make spoofed phone calls - it needs to stop. if the *** company did not endorse this call, then they should track these people down - and if they did endorse this call then they should be held accountable for violating the ***

Hello,
We do not have any agent or employee named Effram. Further, the only phone numbers that we have are from the following area codes: (707), (415), (510), (408). This number that the complaintant references does not belong to HP Investments, Inc. Also, we are not engaged in telephone marketing soliciting homes for sale.

I am rejecting this response because:Maybe you should find out who is using your company name in bad faith then... If I were a business I would do this to protect the reputation of my company name. Until then, every call I get from a company identifying itself wit hthis name will result in a complaint being filed

How would I know if someone that is NOTmy agent or employee is using our company name? This does not make any sense. Maybe the complainant misheard the company name? The legal name of our corporation is HP INVESTMENTS **** we have DBAs registered for HPI Financial which does residential mortgage financing and HPI REAL ESTATE that does real estate sales. The complaintant said that he was called by someone from HPI Financial but that it was for a solicitation to sell their home. If one of our Real Estate agents called they would be using the name HPI REAL ESTATE not HPI FINANCIAL. in any case I did not have an agent or employee with the name that the complaint said called him and we do not have the phone number that the call came in on. It is possible that this is from a company from another state or county that has a different HPI FINANCIAL registered.
