Renting a storage space, in my recently deceased spouses name.. have been locked out.. forty days have expired, Ive presented trust documents and death certificate. The fees are current. When can I expect to have access to my possessions.?Business response

To Whom it May ***************** response to the letter dated 10/24/2021. The tenant passed way on 9/7/2021, ******* left a voice message on 9/9/2021, letting us know of his spouses' passing. We let him know of the paperwork that is needed to lease the unit to him. We overlock the unit. It is our policy we cannot release the unit until 40 days of the death and we need a copy of the Death Certificate and a copy of the Revocable Trust. After 40 days, we send a copy of the Death Certificate and the Revocable Trust papers to our Sr. ******** Manager for approval. Once it is approved the unit can be released to the Trustee. ******* brought the papers needed to submit for approval on 10/22/2021. I called ******* on 10/26/2021 and on 10/28/2022. There was no answer on either days. I left voice messages letting him know it has been approved. ******* called us on 10/29/2021 crying and apologizing for filling this complaint. He said he was going to call you to cancel this complaint. I asked him the next week if he called you and he said yes.
PS: I did mail a response to BBB on 10/28/2021 and then received a letter dated November 4, 2021 from BBB stating we had not responded. I faxed the response to BBB on 11/09/2021. After speaking with *** she said because no one is in the office to resend the response to you via email.
