On 4/4/2022 ************** services listed Martinez Auto Care *** as a company that accepts their services. I called Martinez Auto Care before I took my car to their shop, and the owner Martinez confirmed that they do accept Snap Finical for payment. I *********************** the owner of a ******************************************** for service on 4/4/2022 at apx. 12 pm. The work included hood repair and back bumper. The estimated cost was $950. The estimate employee stated that the repairs would only be 3-4 business days. The owner called my spouse on 4/8/2022 to notify us that the car is done and ready to be picked up at apx. 5pm and the shop closes at 6pm. I arrived at Martinez Auto Care *** at apx. 5:30pm. The manager wanted payment from me before I even seen the fixed damages on the car. My spouse gave the manager Martinez our ************** information in order to take payment. Due to the manager not knowing how to use the service he shared that we gave him all the information he needed to complete the payment. The owner shared that he would release the vehicle. The manager wrote on the original estimate receipt debt paid as of 4/8/2002. Martinez came back and shared to my spouse and I that my car key was lost, and that the co-owner took my keys when he left the shop for the day. The owner promised to have the keys returned that same day but at least by Saturday 4/9/2022. I never received call that night. I called several times on 4/9/22 and 4/10/22. Martinez shared the key was still missing and how he couldn't get ahold of the employee. Martinez rekeyed my car on 4/10/22. On 4/11 I go to pick up my car and the owner now states that I cannot use ************** and that I have to pay out of pocket. I shared that the agreement was to pay through Snap Finical. The owner refused to give me the keys to my vehicle until I pay in a different form. ******** share it will be an additional 120 a day for my car in the shop. Police report made on 4/11/2022. Bad service overall!Business response

I came to the shop because we also offer snap finance for customers I need help we did complete the job the way it should be. There was issues with getting his snap finance approval and something looked fishy to me, I was the one who called the police because they brought other people along trying to intimidate me so I can give them the keys. Police arrived and had them escorted out off my property I then found out that they had no money an had to beg their grandma to pay for the repairs
