At the end of June, being of July my catalytic converter and down pipe was stolen off my 07 ***** Accord. I took the car to 3 star auto at the time but on ****** the are 1 star auto were they were suppose to put a new cat and dope pipe on the car so my car can be back to normal like it was. There where not check engine lights on my car before my cat was stole either. I paid 1 star auto $1200 to replace the stolen parts and put a security measure around the cat as well. Now we fast forward to now and its time for me to get my smog and i have text messages from a former worker telling me to let him know when its time to smog so he can send me to his guy to get it done. This was a red flag at the time but I didnt think to much of it. Now the person does not work there any more but everyone else does currently work there and Ive personally dealt with them the first time i was at the shop and recently. They tried to clear my check engine light with their computer but its would immediately come back on so there said my car had a bad computer. If my computer was bad my car wouldnt turn on and i have been told that be 2 separate mechanics that have looks at my car. One of the mechanics, which is ***** auto on Fruitridge rd, diagnosed my car very thoroughly and apron inspection he seen that the from the down pipe to my cat was modified and not does properly. A smog shop next door forum ***** checked my car and he confirmed ***** findings. They concluded a bad cat with a modified down pipe was put on my car which is cause the mechanics computers to see thats my bank 1 o2 sensor isnt working and the cat is not responsive at well. Before i took this route i was working with 1 star auto to resolve the problem but they havent contacted me in 2 weeks about a part they are suppose to be looking for so i can possible pas s smog and get my car properly registered. I would like to just have my funds refunded; i paid market price for a faulty. Luckily **** set me your way!
