On November 22, 2022 I sent 3 packages from ********************* to ****** via Meest Corporation. The packages are lost since they were never delivered to ******. I paid $263.87 for shipping costs plus $240 for the insurance cost (amount of insurance was $4,800).I contacted the business numerous times (via mail, phone), trying to file a claim for lost packages but did not receive any help since the business claimed that the boxes were still being shipped to me. It has been over 6 months and I still did not receive my packages, nor was able to file lost package claim. I would like to receive reimbursement for the lost packages in the amount of insurance $4,800 plus the cost of shipping $263.87 (total of $5.063.87).Business response

The monowheel unicycles sent by this customer have been shipped from ********** by sea but the last mile delivery is done by air. The monowheel unicycles contain batteries that are prohibited for air transportation and have been returned to our warehouse by the last mile operator twice. Since then, our partners have been trying to ship these items by land, incurring additional costs. We are awaiting confirmation from the last mile delivery operator.
Additionally, the sender had not purchased any insurance from Meest **********; she had only paid for the shipping and delivery. The total amounts paid indicated on the attached customs declarations clearly show the following:
package ******* - $85.57 (**** lbs @ $1.59/lb + $25 delivery charge)
package ******* - $86.37 (**** lbs @ $1.59/lb + $25 delivery charge)
package ******* - $91.93 (**** lbs @ $1.59/lb + $25 delivery charge)
The total amount paid is $338.87. The sender has not paid $240 for insurance. Moreover, the duty-free amount for packages sent to ****** is 45 Euro, and the maximum value of packages to ****** accepted by Meest is 150 Euro. Meest ********** employees could not have accepted packages valued at $1,500-$1,800, nor would they have charged insurance for such amounts.
As a gesture of goodwill, Meest is offering to provide the delivery of these packages to the addressee in ****** and absorb all the additional charges.

It has been a nightmare dealing with this company. Sent many packages and over half they didn't deliver. 9 or more packages were not delivered, many attempts to call and email, they keep pointing fingers and "redirecting" to different departments and wasting time. Company says they cannot deliver due to sanctions and says if they ship items back they will not refund shipping fees, or if we items are redirected to another country then I will have to pay $2 per pound second time. Email responses were very brief and ignorant from ******************* and other staff, recently she decided to stop responding at all (which happened before also). I paid to have the packages delivered to ****** so thats where they should be delivered, especially considering fact that they were sent BEFORE any sanctions were in place, and they are still stuck somewhere. I should NOT have to loose shipping fees and return packages to *** from Europe and have to find another company to ship. I should NOT have to pay 2 times same amount to have them delivered. This is my last attempt to resolve this after that I am actively searching for an attorney, which will help me recover funds for the packages and any attorney fees and possibly other expenses and inconveniences involved. MONTHS have passed and I still don't have the packages delivered and some were very time sensitive. MEEST is being more ignorant and not trying to resolve anything, this is plain ridiculous. At least these 9 parcel's are not delivered and possibly others: ******* ******* ******* ******* ******* ******* ******* ******* ******* !!!!!Business response

We are now in the process of organizing a delivery of the consumer's packages. It takes time to find a viable solution. Next week we will have information and options to offer the claimant.
