    I contacted AAA Electrical at 8:30am on 9/7/23 due to a side load clip falling off the meter when removed by SMUD. I was told someone would be out there immediately for a $69 assessment fee. At 10:30am a tech arrived and informed me the work would be $2400 and could be done by EOD or the next day, but he would need to locate the parts, etc. I waited till 2:30, at which point ************************* called informing me they ******* replace the clip till Monday. I was without power and expressed 4 days without power wouldnt suffice and was offered the option of paying for overnight shipping, but it would be an additional $100-$180. Ed ******* guarantee it would be here overnight, in which case it would still be 4 days till Monday Sept 11th. I expressed that I wouldnt pay for shipping if he ******* insure overnight. ** told me he would get back to me and let me know and then told me it could cost as much as $210 before hanging up. I waited another hour till 3:30pm without power before making the decision to find another solution, as I ******* go all weekend without power. At 3:30pm I cancelled the order and figured out another solution, which got resolved within an hour. ** called me at 5:15pm informing me he would be able to overnight it but became hostile when I told him I cancelled the request almost 2 hours ago. He threatened to charge me the shipping cost. He told me this was bulls**t. I tried explaining that I gave him ample time to not move forward, but he wouldnt let me get a word in. After he hung up, I got a call from *********************************** who wanted me to pay my invoice which had just been emailed to me confirming the cancellation, however the invoice was for the total $2400. *********************** the invoice wasnt correct and she would get back to me with an updated version for just the assessment. She never did. The next morning ** called back yelling, speaking very fast and not letting me speak. He kept talking over me and I had to ask him to let me speak **** times to get a word in. He was loud, bullying, and tried using scare tactics to get me to move forward with the work. He then told me the shipping was actually $290.00! I tried explaining I didnt write him a blank check to charge me whatever he wanted, but he simply wasnt hearing what I had to say. He said he had recorded our previous conversation the day before at 2:30 and I could listen to it for myself, which ********* provided for me 2 days later on Sept 13th. a.In the recording he quotes $100-$180 and then $210 at the end of the conversation b.He tells me he is going to call me back to see if he can get the part by the next day.c.Its illegal to record someone in the ******************* without his/her consent. I never received a recording of the phone conversation of me cancelling the service, but ********* confirmed it both by email and in our phone conversation the day before. Just wanting to end the dispute, I agreed to pay the *** he quoted me for shipping, ($210), although he had ample time to call me back and respond to my cancellation. However, he never responded. I emailed him and ********* asking for an updated invoice so I could pay the $210 for shipping + the original $69 for the initial call. I tried using their chat feature on the website and called requesting for the invoice, but they simply wont call me back. Finally, on Friday the 22nd of September I wrote a letter including $279.00 via check, but it hasnt been cashed and still no invoice. Im asking to give me the curtesy of providing an invoice and letting me pay the amount owed. AAAs complete lack of professionalism in this matter is unethical.

    I am so disgusted by my experience with AAA Electrical Solutions. Like several other reviewers, I was under the impression that the $69 fee to come out to my home included a diagnostic of the issue I needed fixed. This is not the case. It is a bait and switch scam followed by a hard sell of an upgrade to something I didnt need or want for thousands of dollars. What actually happened when the technician came to my home was he looked at the dryer outlet and main electrical box, took some picturesand proceeded to give me an estimate for a diagnostic of both to the tune of $700+! When I questioned if he had tested the outlet to verify if power was even present, he begrudgingly took out his multimeter and confirmed power was getting to the outlet, but only to one leg. He then proceeded to hard sell me a complete replacement of my electrical panel and quoted me $8000+, their special financing and a free vacation at a timeshare. I repeatedly told him no and ended the visit. After a second opinion and some quick googling, I was able to test the outlet myself with a multimeter ($10) and replace the circuit breaker to the dryer ($55 part) in less than 40 minutes.I attempted to discuss my concerns with the owner, who was extremely rude and condescending. He called me a ***** and told me I was just ****** off about not liking the cost or repairs that was not within my budget. At that time I ended the call and he then proceeded to send a nasty text to me. Unprofessional and shady business practices from the top down! Consumer beware!
