On March 20 2023 I paid $3700 retainer fee to the office of Daniel A **** for a conservertorshio for my mom. On March 22 2023 I was contacted by a staff member at Daniel A **** office advising me they would not be representing me, and that there was a conflict of interest. The phone lasted less than fifty seconds. I was told I would receive my refund the next Day. Its been thirty days, no refund, no returned phone call, text, or emails. I contacted the *************************** who advised me to contact my bank, who advised me to file a police report, and they advised me to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Law Offices of Daniel ************ Payment notification A payment was submitted to Law Offices of Daniel ************. It will be reflected in your bank account within 1-2 business days. Hello,
I previously overlooked the initial email in my inbox but would like to respond to complaint #******** by *********************** to the Law Offices of Daniel ************.
Upon discovering a conflict of interest with this matter, we promptly issued a refund check. We then discovered that this individual had already disputed the charge with their credit card company, since they had paid their initial retainer by credit card.
We saw that the credit card company had refunded her initial payment. We then voided the refund check since she had already filed with her credit card company.
