9/22/2020 Originally purchased 234sft. Mannington ****************** Daybreak sheet vinyl @ $2.91/sft. for $681.04 +tax +installation. Installed 10/14/2020. Material was not appropriate for kitchen, laundry, bathroom, and high traffic areas. When items were dropped on the floor, they gauged or cut into the vinyl. Transition seams were not joined seamlessly. Vinyl was too thin for the designed areas. See IMG_1652-1657 jpg.9/23/2021 Agreed to purchase a replacement product, Mannington ************************* Veil ***, for additional cost of $820.00. The flooring was installed on 12/01/2021. Within days of the installation. I became concerned with the appearance and wear of the flooring. I contacted the installer to assess the product, but was unavailable. This product continues to get worse: the *** is sinking in he middle of numerous planks while feathering at the connecting edges to the adjoining planks. This is causing some rough edging at the connecting seams. Please see IMG_1747-1755 jpg.

The sheet vinyl that customer selected is rated for residential kitchen use. Customer was not maintaining and caring for the floor according to manufacturers recommendations. Mannington sent out an inspector to check on the floor and its performance and determined that the customer caused the damage due to lifestyle and poor maintenance. Simas Floor Company has a strong relationship with Mannington flooring and because of the strong relationship, Mannington ***** offered to replace the flooring as an accommodation to Simas Floor Company. The customer selected an upgraded product from Mannington Hills and Simas Floor Company charged the customer the difference in price and installed the new selection. Again, the damage to the new floor is caused by user neglect and carelessness in maintaining the floor and the second replacement was not approved by the manufacturer and there was not another accommodation given due to the customer abuse of the ***********************.
