    My garage had burned down back in 09/09/2021. Golden coast came over my house the next day and explained to me that they could help us fix up the garage and damages done to the house as well. My house had ac units in every room, kitchen and living room. Golden coast tossed out all the ac units claiming that they will mot work anymore and boarded up all windows. We decided not to give them the job and after 7 months, my insurance says that they cannot pay for the ac units because they did not touch them. Now I've reached out to them after 10 months for Golden coast construction to replace or pay for them, but they keep me at "we will call you back". Now a year has passed and they claimed it's a little too late.

    I spoke to ***************** daughter regarding her air-conditioning units. We responded to an emergency call to secure the property at *******************************************************. The daughter let me that the ** units are still onsite, They just dont work. I explained to her that we only secured the property and are not responsible for the ** units and instructed her to call her insurance and explain the ** units not working are a direct results of the fire. She agreed and said both her and her mother felt this was the insurance companies responsibility and  not Golden Coast Construction & Restorations issue to resolve. She said she would be calling the BBB to cancel her complaint.

    Ive also attached photos of the ** units sitting on the ground after the property was secured.

    Please let me know if there is anything ese you need to dismiss this complaint.
