The website advertises a tutor for the kids. When I requested the tutor I was told it is not offered. When I brought it to their attention that the website states a tutor is provided, I was told it doesn't matter because it is not on a specific page. When I ask for extra help for subjects or lessons my children need help with they do not receive the extra help. I have been told via email that they would have instructors add the materials. Haven't received it. The subjects are supposed to updated when completed. Multiple times now, this has not happened. My son in 5th grade has now been waiting 3 months for Biology lessons. When they do update, they add to lessons that were completed several months ago. I have requested for that not to happen because we have completed and moved on. They said to do it anyway for a review. I have been told when subjects aren't updated and they have no work to make them do a different subject. When Reading wasn't updated they told me to make them read a book. Now I am getting absolutely no responses from the company at all. Sign language is advertised as a subject. The kids completed what little bit of material that was on there last school year *****. I was told it would be updated and it still has not been. I am rejecting this response because: I brought attention to there not being enough material before my trial period was up to Konnor. I was assured he would speak with the instructors because they were not being updated in a timely manner. It was supposed to be resolved so I did not need to request a refund.
The updates have gotten much worse. Sign language is an extra curricular offered by RLS. It has not been updated since last school year.
Many of my childrens subjects havent been updated in several months. I have requested almost daily for them to be updated. I was told they would be updated some time in January to pick something else for them to do. I was told that I would not have to purchase extra material with this curriculum. Due to no materials for them to learn, I have now had to purchase extra items for them to be able to do their homeschool. My youngest child has a subject that hasnt been updated since 10/23/23. I am being told that they will get to it they update it constantly. They absolutely do not. I have asked multiple times for a refund and to speak to management. I was told they denied my refund and I have still not been contacted by management.
As far as there being resources for help for the students, my oldest requested help last semester for Science. They sent help for the wrong material. I notified ****** that it wasnt what he needed. ****** said he would notify the instructor and get what he needed. Still havent heard anything back.
My oldest submitted material for the instructor to grade. It didnt get graded until the next school year and only after I complained.
When we purchased, the website advertised a tutor. When I asked for access I was told it was not offered. When I mentioned the website advertised that, I was told it does but not on one specific page so it is not offered. I asked for a tutor multiple times as that was on the website when I purchased and many months after (to my knowledge it still is unless they removed it since I have looked). They continued to tell me I dont have access because its not offered and it was not on one specific page of their site when I paid. That is false advertising.
I want a full refund. I spend more time trying to get RLS to update materials than my kids actually get to learn.
I requested an update for Elementary Animal Science on 12/13/23. They finally updated it on 1/29/24 with 1 day of material.
While they advertise having multiple subjects to chose from, your children will not actually get an education from it. There are more days that I have to supplement curriculum than they actually get to use this.
This curriculum is not as advertised and will not benefit your children.Initial Complaint

On Oct 28, 2022 I purchased the monthly homeschool program. There is no trial like most companies. You have to pay $40 but they have a 100% money back guarantee. We didnt get access until Nov 2. On Nov 3 We cancelled and asked for a refund as it wasnt a fit for **. They did not cancel and continued to charge me three more months in a ******* is now April 23rd and they have only refunded me the original charge of $40. They owe me $120. They only thing they say when I ask for updates is We will send to billing. Billing has never me contacted me once for updated. I had to contact my bank to see the first refund occurred on March 8th 2023.Initial Complaint

On 9/11/22 I began a 30 day money back guarantee trial of a homeschooling program for my daughter. I looked at the program, however what they offered was not what they advertised. They were classes that could be completed in a few weeks, not a year long curriculum. The same day (9/11/22) I wrote and cancelled my trial and asked for my refund. I still have not received my refund. I have written 8 emails to the company between 9/26/22 and 11/2/22 in regards to the refund. I had been getting correspondence back initially stating they would escalate it, or would send it to a higher individual and didn't know why it didn't go through. Then I received an email from another gentleman stating that there had been an issue with their system. He stated that they had raised the prices and the system didn't know how to refund the lower amount, but they were working out how to fix it. He stated he would respond by the following week and apologized profusely. This was 11/4/22. Since he "checked into it," I have not heard from him and he hasn't responded to the three emails I have sent.
