      I have an have an auto policy #*************** via AIS for mercury insurance. I notified them in July that I moved to a different city. Since then I've been paying an increased premium. This past Friday I received a letter in the mail that stated notice of cancellation. After calling them and looking into it it seemed that they just wanted to verify the new address. I called in on Friday and today November 6th 2023. In the morning I spoke to one of their agents and she confirmed that I verified everything and that she would let ******* insurance know and get back to me. I did not hear back so I called them again to verify the change and when speaking to another agent she then started to talk to me about how there will be a surcharge. She stated that given that this is a business car and despite me telling her that this is a personal car, she continued to say that I will be receiving a surcharge. I told her multiple times that this is my only car which I use for personal use. I discussed that I have concern for price gouging given that my premium just went up from the new address change and now to say that there is a surcharge. Despite me telling her that this is a personal car, she continued to term my car as a business car and that because of that she wanted to increase my rates. Ever since I have had the policy nothing has changed except my recent home address. Please investigate this phone conversation, the agent I spoke to, and the business practice. I'm not sure why AIS continues to want to increase my rates. My driving habits have not changed. I think that AIS is looking for ways to increase rates and price *****.Please see address form change PDF.

      Filed a claim for the braking system on September 14, 2022 (claim number: CAPA-********) Field adjuster came out, inspected vehicle and authorized the service department to order the parts and begin work on the vehicle. Insurance company set up a rental through Enterprise while the car was in the shop. A few days ago a different adjuster called saying the claim would be closed. Insurance rental car department later called and said rental would be covered for 30 days. We had until October 21st but when the car was done to return rental the same day. Today, we get a message from Enterprise saying the insurance company is revoking coverage on the entire rental.

      My car was stole August 31,2021 and it was recovered six days later on Labor Day. The insurance AIS "Mercury" had the vehicle towed to a body shop of my choice "Excellent *******************" in ********, **. Three months have passed by and the vehicle has not been repaired and the insurance can not accommodate me with another thirty day rental. After reaching out to the body shop they stated they are waiting for "dealer parts only" which are back ordered and they do not have an estimated arrival for set parts. The estimates that I received do not include all damages and missing parts from the car. Missing on the estimates is the **** front bumper, grill, the spare tire (actual tire), and interior damages. At this point I do not have any other means of transportation. I am paying my insurance monthly which is full coverage in the amount of two hundred and sixty dollars. I have reached out multiple times and the only response I get is to reach out to the body shop. My claim number is CAPA01693410 and my adjuster is ************************* her phone number is ************************. Excellent Auto Body and Frame phone number is ************* and the owners name is ****.

      My complaint is for AIS.
