Put in used rotiller for repairs, they charged $125 paid in advance. Waited over 3 weeks and then they said they had to buy new carberator and labor would cost another $50. Picked up rotiller today and it runs ******! Rough, They will not answer the phone and they never call you back. We want the rotiller to work correctly or our money back. Not paying more to get it fixed if they can not fix anything. Surprised they didn't start up the device to see if it ran well. What is our recourse. Hello,
in response to Larrys complaint, his machine is over 30 years old and parts are not available for it. In addition to replacing many parts on his tiller in, we called him to update him on the status 3 times and spoke with him and his lovely wife to let them know we were waiting on a corroborator we ordered that we would need to retrofit. Once it came in we called him 3 days after modifying it to let him know it was ready and the additional charge for the parts (he was not charged additional labor of 3 hours that were spent on it. I also have video of him threatening our technician and cursing at him in front of our shop. I also sent an email to his wife asking her to bring in the machine for any adjustments it needs. I ask that he does not return with her due to his foul mouth and grumpy negative attitude. (attached).
In summary, it came in not working, after servicing, flushing the gas, changing the oil, replacing the fuel lines and corroborator it now runs. The complaint now is that it is runs too loud but may need to be tuned. This is not necessary going to solve the issue because his machine is very old and the unit is extremely worn and had zero maintenance due to the rusted bolts that needed to be tapped and drilled out as well as and the throttle cable is rusted and will not run perfectly as we told him.
