I had a debt in the amount of $3221.28 with ******************* that was purchased by Cavalry, SPV I, LLC on Sept.13, 2021. According to the Fair Debt Collection Practices ACT, it states that a debt collector MUST provide clear and accurate documentation outlining the details of the debt, including the original creditor, the amount owed, and any relevant supporting information. I NEVER received a written debt validation notice from Cavalry SPV, LLC. On July 6, ******************************************** court on July 6, 2023. I never responded for said summons because I had NO idea that Cavalry SPV I, LLC, a third party debt collection agency, had bought my debt from Home Depot(Citibank). I waited for an entire year to go to my court date of July 6, 2023 at 9:00am in ******************* Superior Court. When I arrived I went to Department 9 as was stated on my summons, the room had been changed. When I went to Department 4, the door was locked. I went to the civil desk & spoke to a *********** told me it was removed from the docket in December, 2022. I was NEVER notified by Cavalry & have not had one bit of communication from them except the summons. They have wasted my time, ruined my credit & caused major stress in my life. They have protocols they must be following! This is harassment!

I was served a court summons from Nelson and Kennard in June for a debt from ********** Credit. I have sent two faxes asking to contact me so we could hopefully settle. I feel Nelson and Kennard is ignoring me in hopes they can say my judgment goes into default. Why can they ignore my two faxes that were sent to the fax number showing on the summons.

I am rejecting this response because:On June 28, 2023 I spoke to ******* at extension 188. I inquired on the validity and veracity of the amount and right to collect from me. ******* said my faxes sent on June 19, 2023 and June 22, 2023 in which I am inquiring how to resolve this matter had not been received. However I did receive confirmation that both faxes were successfully transmitted. ******* said his firm has the proper documentation to collect from me and would be sending me the documents to prove. To this date I have not received any paperwork and it has been 11 days. Nelson and Kennard are attempting to make me enter into default.

I recently had a horrible experience with an advisor who works for this company to the point I wanted to file a complaint with BBB. The individual I worked with was rude and not understanding and as someone who is disabled this was/has been a horrible experience that I wouldn't wish on anyone. Their platform to pay bills/billing system is awful. They do whatever they can to not work with clients and are morally unethical and what is wrong with our society today (capitalism). I am in the process of getting disability and they refused to work with me and gave me a payment plan that I cannot afford causing further issues.

So first, I like to state that I understand that this law firm/debt collector is trying to get their money from a debt that I owe from six years ago. Please keep in mind that I was in school for a while and had no income. I received a certified letter regarding garnishment wages, I contacted the law offices in a timely manner and I was informed on what I needed to do. I did all of the things that I was asked of me and I woke up the day after Thanksgiving with nearly $400 deducted from my bank account. I called the law firm. They told me what I need to do and I did it. I was told by a manager that if I hadnt heard from anybody the following Tuesday to give them a call. I gave them a call on that Tuesday to find out about the modification garnishment that I was trying to get and I was informed it was denied. I was very polite and I asked why and I was transferred to a manager. I had to leave two messages for the same manager that I spoke to you previously . This last Friday I called the business back because I still have not heard back from them after two voicemails. I left when I spoke to the business they told me all I needed to do was AB and C. I was a little confused, because that was completely different information than what I was told previously . I asked for another phone call before the end of the day so I can figure out what exactly I need to do and a file a complaint against the manager that I spoke to previously that did not give me any of the information that I received on Friday . I still have not received a phone call. I feel like theyre trying to take all of my money without working with me. Im not trying to not give this company their money. But I am a single mom with four kids and its right before Christmas. Im working a bunch of overtime so I can provide Christmas to my children and they continue to take it and not work with me.

I am rejecting this response because: They have not called me at all. I called their office on 12/2/2022 after no response or return phone call from them and I demanded a call back the same day from someone as I called on 11/29/2022 for further explanation about the denial of the wage garnishment modification. I also did not receive a call on 12/5/2022 as I was home all day with my phone next to me. When I called on 11/29/22 I was not informed that I could change the garnishment to 200$, I was told something completely different. Per an email from my employer regarding a wage garnishment modification.

      Hello *****,

Per your request, I contacted the law offices of Nelson and Kennard. According to them, there isnt any modification agreement in place and they expect the 20% deduction to continue.

      Please advise.

When I called on 11/29/2022 I was told my request had been denied and I was transferred to speak to a manager and again I am still waiting for a call back. Clearly the law offices are calling the incorrect number as I would not be filing a complaint had the business called me and explained my options more clearly. Instead I got a different answer each time that I called.

I received notice from my payroll department at my employer regarding a garnishment. I had no prior knowledge as this debt is so old and I hadnt received any correspondence in years. I called the courts and there was no declaration of being served. I am asking for the garnishment to be withdrawn and a payment arrangement be made ASAP that I can afford .

I received an email from ADP that they were filing a garnishment with my employer. Upon receiving the garnishment I found out it was filed by this law firm for a debt collection. The debt is under a different middle initial and has never been a creditor of mine. I have contacted the firm by phone 3 times. I have been disconnected twice. I know have $616 being withdrawan from my pay until the erroneous debt of $3400 is paid in full. I want this resolved and removed from my records.
