My husband gifted me a groupon voucher for a body massage and foot scrub for Mother's Day. I made an appt for 06/02/24 @10am. When I arrived, I showed the voucher and the manager told me he needed to see the "watcher code." It turned out it was the redemption code that he was referring to. So I called my husband since the voucher was under his account, put my husband on speaker so that the manager could hear the conversation. While on the speaker phone, and me in front of the manager, my husband redeemed the voucher to show to the redemption code. He then sent a screenshot of the voucher. The manager tells me that it is the code he needs but that the voucher has already been redeemed. I told the manager that he clearly saw the voucher was not redeemed and that it was redeemed while I was in front of him on the speaker phone with my husband, because he asked for the redemption code. Not that the only way to see a redemption code is if the voucher is redeemed. The manager then refused service and started calling another customer on the phone, while I'm standing there trying to resolve the issue. I told him he was being rude, and his excuse was that this "is customer service." He continued on the phone call and just ignored me. I left the premises and my husband and I contacted Groupon. ******* wanted a written email from the merchant that services were not rendered. So I went back to the business and the receptionist called his manager, who had already left, and then was not willing to provide any service or talk to me afterwards, although he claimed he was listening to me. He even refused to provide a contact phone number for his manager. With all the commotion, another customer came out and asked he provide the manager's number but he still refused, stating the manager did not want to talk to me. Both were not trying to provide any service, refund, statement, or apology.

I went to Happy day spa in *************** (7/8/2023 4:45pm) to get a massage. I had spa tickets. I purchased a book and have a few remaining tickets. He said they dont honor the tickets even though his address is on the back. I also called the other locations. There were 6. 3 had disconnected numbers, 1 is too far away, 1 said they changed owners but he doesnt know why the fairway location doesnt accept it.I attempted to use the tickets at other locations and it is not possible. There is also no expiration date on the tickets.I would suggest they honor/refund tickets and no longer sell them. But to not honor tickets that have been sold is not acceptable.

This complaint is regarding both New Happy Day Spa and Happy Day Spa, at multiple locations, including: ********************************************************************** and ************************************************* in **********. (As well as other locations that are supposed to be affiliated but where the number is disconnected or seems to transfer you to sweepstakes hotlines. We purchased multiple packs of spa tickets for the foot massage previously (pre-pandemic). The tickets all say theyre good for all locations listed on the ticket and they do not expire. When you go to the ********** location, they tell you to go to the ********* location or pay $20 on top of your spa ticket to use it there. Then when you go to the ********* location, they say to go to the ********** location or pay $20 on top of your spa ticket there. The ********** location says that the original owner is at the ********* location and he sold the business to them, so the original owner should honor the ticket. When you make the appt for either location and say you have the green spa ticket, they dont tell you that you have to pay extra, they just say okay and make the appt. I am tired of getting the run around and do not have time/energy to keep going to their other various locations to see if they will honor the spa tickets. Please help.

We purchased these spa tickets and and last weekend attempted to take the opportunity to use them. We were told that they would not be accepted. They insisted we pay with cash or card. I attempted to do a charge back on my credit card but they will not help due to the service being rendered. I attempted to call and speak with management (who ended up being the person who refused to accept our tickets). As seen in the images the tickets state they are good for ALL locations and do not expire.

Yesterday I visited "Happy" Day Spa. I called first but no one answered. I decided to make the drive because I haven't been since before Covid and really needed a body massage. When I walked in, no one greeted me and when I asked for a massage, they told me they could give me one. I then presented a ticket, which I purchased just before Covid and they told me they could not take my ticket because the owner told them not to. He then showed me a piece of paper saying the same thing but badly worded. I asked for a refund because the tickets do not expire and they said no refund. I asked for replacement tickets and they said no. I told them that it is illegal in ********** not to honor gift cards and they told me they know and that they do not care. I took pictures of the piece of paper and the exterior of the business with the lighted sign out front saying OPEN. A car parked out front has ****** license plates. He stood at the door (the door has a BBB sticker next to it!) wearing a mask watching me to make sure I left and to see who I was with no doubt. I have 8 purple body massage tickets, which I paid $450 for 10 and 2 red foot massage tickets, which I paid $300 for 10. I am now asking for a complete refund for my dishonored tickets totaling $420 as I am no longer interested in doing business with someone who commits fraud and has illegal business practices.
