My daughter was signed on by Ms *** and advised that with learning disability and only being 51 she would have a career in modeling. Rom day one it has been difficult to get the links for the zoom class the instructors do not respond to questions now the Sacramento Barbizon is Im guessing closed because all you get from *** now is this- after 13 years I have decided to leave the industry. Barbizon used a talent scout Joy ***** to reach out to my daughter. She is 16 and was interested in the idea of acting, modeling and was informed that if she passed the audition she would be accepted into their program. I did some research prior and they we're accredited but there was also a lot of feed back coming up that said the program was a scam. We decided to follow through with the interview. It was held via zoom meeting with some other applicants where you would show poses and or other talent. My daughter was selected for the program but at a steep cost and the program did not promise any work just the training. The classes was something to think over so we elected to pay the deposit of $600 that day. That day I couldn't pay the. $600. When I told them that I didn't have the amount they told me that I could pay $100. The amount of course was taken instantly from my debit card. After the meeting ended and being reassured we could reach the scout Joy, her assistant Andy if we had any questions, we were not able to reach anyone once we decided not to go with the program. The only text that I received from Ms. Joy is any refunds or cancellations questions can be directly send to Ms. Hailey or the Studio. They are unreachable via email or phone. Just cancel it and we don't want nothing to do with Barbizon of Sacramento. Please and thank you.
