      When someone is renting a storage space, the last thing you want to contend with is an extra unauthorized charge on their credit card. That's exactly what happened to me when my rent was on auto pay, and they slapped an additional month's rent the following day on my card. I called and emailed the remote staff and got ignored or a couple quick emails saying everything looks good with no context or acknowledgement of the issue. I escalated the matter up to the facility owner and he kindly told the staff to refund the money. The staff has ignored his directive even after my follow-up emails which is baffling and annoying. I finally thought I made progress some 6 weeks later when I got a call out of the blue saying the facility had changed online payment vendors causing a lot of issues. They promised a credit but at this point I simply wanted my money back from the unauthorized charge. The support person agreed to mail me a check. You've heard the old saying "the check is in the mail" and I think that applies here. Maybe it will come pony express but I'm not holding my breath as it's going on 8 weeks unresolved. I would strongly suggest not having any credit card on file or auto pay if you're considering using this storage company. Better yet, consider doing business with a company that is more proactive if a billing or other issue comes into play. This unauthorized billing should never have happened in the first place.       When someone is renting a storage space, the last thing you want to contend with is an unauthorized charge slapped on their credit card on file. That's exactly what happened to me. I got an authorized charge on July 9th for a full month's rent the day after I had made my usual monthly payment. Attempting to get a refund for that error has involved several phone calls and emails that largely got ignored. The issue is unresolved as of the date of this review which is about six weeks after the incident. This company was in the process of changing credit card payment processors which they claim resulted in the bogus charge. Mistakes happen which is understandable. What is not acceptable is this companies' inability to address this error and issue me a refund either by check or charge back to my credit card. I escalated this matter up to the facility manager and in an email he acknowledged the unauthorized charge and ordered the staff to issue me a refund. This was about three weeks ago. Apparently, his remote staff is not on the same page as they claimed everything is good without any details and never followed his directive to issue a credit. Now I'm going on six weeks with no solution in sight. I did finally get a call back after the many ignored calls saying a check was being sent to me. As of today, I guess the old saying "the check is in the mail" applies here. It is very annoying and time consuming dealing with an outfit like this. The workers are now remote possibly working out of another state. They have no real vested interest in solving billing issues and simply want to rent out units. It seems like they just want to run out the clock on me and hope the bogus billing issue fades away. I would strongly urge prospective storage space renters to read the recent reviews on Yelp ect and then decide if you want to risk billing errors with your credit card. I took action by removing my car from their storage as I don't want to risk further billing errors.
