Had file a complaint with Sacramento City College, ************ on 02/17/2023 for a class. Received an email stating it will be routined to the **** or someone to help with my complaint but it almost been 2 months and have not received any email or phone call. Would like for them to reach back to me.Business response

The individual that filed a complaint is a student of Sacramento City College and had a complaint regarding an instructional method used by the faculty member. Instructional teaching methods are protected by law and academic freedom, as such it is not something that can be grieved or something we force the faculty member to change. The student needs to speak with the faculty member if they are struggling with course material. We care very deeply about our students and their satisfaction, but that does not mean teaching modalities or instructional methods can be changed to fit one individual's preference. Since receiving the complaint, we have made multiple attempts to contact the individual and they have not responded.
