Purchased home from **** Properties 11/2021 with a homewarranty provided by the seller **** Properies. In the last 2 weeks we have filed 3 warranty claims. 1 was for a broken kitchen faucet/sprayer combo which broke and has been replaced. 2 was for a dishwasher purchased by us which was installed and stopped working shortly after install. This was to replace the existing mismatched washer that was sold with the home and did not match the stove or microwave brand or model family. We also chose to replace the original because it was quite loud compared to the new one. It also did not exact match the stainless steel of the stove/microwave. This was brought back to working order under an assumed warranty repair. As we had never received a written or electronic copy of the warranty until after the work.was done. 3 Now the ** unit is not working properly. A warranty claim was made with follow up messages left over the last couple days and **** has yet to return our calls to request repair. 4 **** is now saying they will be invoicing us for the repairs to a new appliance installed after home.purchase wis is not a covered.claim. I can not find in the warranty where it says if an appliance.is replaced it voids the warranty for that appliance going forward. This email response was received days after the ** was reported yet did not acknowledge the ** issue.Business response

We sold the property to the customer, and during the escrow period they were able to have a Professional 3rd party home inspection company come and check out the entire home and test every appliance. The home passed all of the inspections. All the appliances were brand new and all were stainless steel. We as a company stand behind our work and products and we offer a complimentary home warranty. The entire home was done with permits that were finalized with the County of Sacramento. The buyer reached out to ** and filed a home warranty claim that the dishwasher was not installed correctly (which is not possible since we passed a county building inspection and a 3rd party home inspection hired by the buyer themselves). We sent our plumbing team out to the property to address the issue, our team reported back to us that the buyers had lied about the issue with the dishwasher. They had purchased a new one and had us install it for them. We let the buyer know that this didn't qualify as a warranty claim and we would have to charge them for the install of their new appliance. If they choose not to pay for the install we wouldn't come out for any claims until the account was brought current.
