      I canceled my trial membership immediately by telephone after joining. I was charged ***** a month for five months before I noticed it on my bank statement. I contacted peoplefinders and they only credited one month Sept. 2022. They said they had no record of me canceling my free seven day trial membership. The lady at my bank told me they did the exact same thing to her. My bank couldn't credit me because it had been over 60 days. I absolutely canceled my membership and never used the service because I knew it was canceled. Please help. They are preying on customers conveniently having no record they canceled when they do cancel in hopes they won't notice the money being stolen from their bank account . That's what happened to me. They owe me for *** , June, July, August 2022.       Our records show we received a call to cancel on 10/12/2022. There are no other calls for this account before 10/12/2022. There is also no attempt to cancel via e-mail or on your Peoplefinders dashboard, after being billed for 5 months. When you called in on 10/12/2022 we followed our policy and procedures and issued a courtesy refund for the most current charge in the amount of $24.95. For any further refunds you will need to contact your bank.

      I would like my name to be removed from the online property report for my house, which I own. My address is: ***************************************************************, **.I would also like the residents name to be removed from the property report for my house. The resident no longer lives with me. This is causing unnecessary solicitations to be sent to my house. I wrote peoplefinders.com, and they replied that they would not remove my name or the other residents name. https://www.peoplefinders.com/address/search?state=**&city=north-chesterfield&housenumber=701&street=*********%20drive&*************** My daughter also wrote peoplefinders.com, trying to get her name removed from the property report for her house, which she owns. PeopleFinders refused to remove her name too.

      This is a people information location company, when you use their services you have the right to choose a one time service fee or a membership, even though you choose one time fee several options keep popping up to make you choose a monthly membership. The monthly membership is ***** per month verses a one time fee of @ 1-5.00 I have been on this site for years and never have I signed up for a membership. I use the site about 3-4 time maximum a year. This company somehow entered me into a membership and has been charging me ***** per month for an entire year. I called and was told a membership welcome email was sent out to me. I never received it or I would have cancelled right away.,The company has offered to reverse one month membership fee. I also tried to cancel the membership last month but when I called the recorder said due to high call volume it was better to email. I received an email response that said my issue couldnt be handled by email. I feel Like the website us very deceiving and it makes you think you r cancelled the request for a membership when you didnt. I entered a phone number into the site today to try and capture a screenshot of all the screens and pop up but unfortunately because I had the membership they didnt appear. I would like a full refund for the entire year. You can see in the previous years Ive always, always elected one time fee. This is unfair and deceptive.

      I recently saw I was charged ***** monthly for the last two months. I went to login to the account that I recall signing up with. I didnt see an active account or billing. So I called today to inquire if there was another account somehow created. The man ******* advised he found 3 accounts and I never created 3 accounts. The man could only refund the last 3 payments charged but advised he could see the fees were charged since June 2022 and I havent used any other profile. He couldnt tell me the email address nor could he waive all the fees. I advised its fraud and I didnt authorize any of these charges and didnt understand why he couldnt reverse the fees or give any information about the account that had my bank card or account number linked. Im asking for a refund of my money. From June 2022 until August 2022 since they only agreed to do the last 3 months. If you all need statement copies of these charges, Id be glad to provide them. I should be able to get my money back and the account that was being charged was never used because it wasnt me.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
      However, I never signed up for more than one account. Lets make that clear. When you all respond to people, never respond with assumptions or blame to the consumer. Thanks for the refund that should have been resolved by phone in the beginning for a fraudulently opened profile/account! Have a great day.

      I have to constantly reach out to people finder to get a return on a transaction I never authorized. They keep charging me a subscription fee and I have to ask for the refund and get ignored. I never signed up for this feature or subscription it was one of my teenagers but the authorization to charge my card was never given. Please do something about this

      Several months ago I used Peoplefinders to locate someone for a one time charge! I called later to make sure the account was closed and I would not be charged monthly in the future! I received a cancel notification by email. Peoplefinders continued to charge my credit card every month. The CC co has canceled and reissued a new card 2 times as well as reporting Peoplefinders as fraud! People finders continues to charge my account every month! Once again I have to get a new card! They need to be stopped!!

      I am rejecting this response because: the link they provide does not work and  I do not see the Url code easily available.The information on my so called marriages is wrong. I wrote  to Peoplefinders  and told them   a few weeks ago when they had me married to one man and told them  I was never married and  they  responded aby adding  a SECOND HUSBAND! This company is an extorter. I am not paying to have this false information  about my so called  marriages removed .       I purchased on this day a 6-month membership at $29.70 since it was labeled as best deal and had to purchase before viewing report. However, upon doing a search, not only on the person searching for, but also on myself, I found the information to be incorrect and outdated. Most, if not all, info I had already found for free via white pages search. I cancelled my auto renewal subscription immediately after discovering this and find this is an issue with deceptive trade practices.
