These people are a Predatory towing company. I see them come in and out my apartment all the time. Sometimes they have a car getting towed and sometimes not. Just hunting. My car was towed recently by these guys about 2 weeks ago and when I went to pick it up, they gave me the run around and tried to deny paperwork that I asked about like tow fees and tow authorization paper. They fully denied me of the tow authorization which leads me to believe that they instigated this tow. There are no legal signs posted at my apartment complex which would constitute me being towed. They damaged my car and I want them to pay. They broke laws to tow my car and they wanna play games when I contact them.

HB Towing was called out to tow my boyfriends vehicle from my moms house when we were visiting. The guest parking pass was in the window as usual but due to ********** private security inadequately checking to make sure the parking pass was in the vehicle, the vehicle was towed. The pass is very small and was hanging from the rear view mirror, but security claims they did not see it. We paid $300 to get the car back the next day and when a representative of HB towing drove the vehicle up to us, the pass was in the car, hanging from the window like we knew it was. ***, the owner of HB Towing states they do a secondary check for parking passes before they remove the vehicle from the premises but they obviously did not in this case. Now *** refuses to give the money back unless ********** private security calls him to explain that the pass was valid. ***, the owner of ********** private security refuses to address me, the registered owner of the vehicle, or my mother who lives at the property. And *** wont reach out to them either.

On my receipt, My car was towed on 08/28/2021 at 3:00pm and I paid on 8/30/21 at 12:09pm. I was charged $400 for three days. The light duty tow fee hourly is $220 and the storage fee is $60 each day. I should have been charged $340 but the man didnt want to give us our money back and was rude speaking to us. Also, I spoke to a man on the phone 8/29/21 when I noticed my car was towed, I called the company and he said I was towed on 8/29/21 at 3pm, and that tomorrow it will be $280 to get my car out if I come before 2:30pm so I dont get overcharged. I still dont know whether it was the 28th or 29th when my car was towed, but I know for sure it was either those two. Either way, they overcharged me for three days and I want my money back.
