I was on Military Orders from Oct 2017-Aug-2018 at Fort Hunter-Liggett, CA. I lived with roommates at a house in Soledad, CA, managed by Bay Property Management. When my orders ended I had to move back to my home of record which is Colorado Springs, CO, I gave them a signed notice as soon as I found out I was leaving. 2 years later I have a ****** collection from Hunter Warfield Inc. from Bay Property Management. I contacted Bay Property Management to find out why and was told that they don't have the signed notice I gave them. I had to track down the copy from an old roommate to send to Bay Property Management. I've contacted them multiple times trying to get an email from them to send them the signed notice and have received email addresses that don't work, I don't get a call back from a manager, after speaking with a different employee or I don't get a call back after leaving multiple voicemails. I've contacted both locations, in Salinas, and Soledad with no luck. All I want from this is for the collection to be removed from my report as I have done everything I could before I left to not be responsible for what happened to the home from the roommates after I left. I have not filed a complaint sooner because I had hoped that this would have resolved with just me contacting them.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/09/02) */ Contact Name and Title: ***********, Property Man Contact Phone: ********** Contact Email: *************************** ***** ******* moved into the property in 2018. He moved in with 2 tenants already residing in the property. All three roommates signed a new rental agreement on 1/1/18. The tenants were served a 60 day notice to vacate on 9/10/18 because the owners were going to sell the property. ***** called our office about moving due to military orders. We told him we required a copy of the orders in order to remove him from the rental agreement. We never received a copy of the orders. We ended up having to do a Sheriffs eviction because the tenants did not vacate. Since ***** was still officially on the rental agreement, he was included on the eviction paperwork. in September of 2020 we received a call from *****. We told him we never received a copy of the orders and asked him to send them to us. May of 2021 we received another call from ***** saying he wanted to provide the orders so he could be removed from the collection account. We never received a copy of the orders. We did communicate with ***** by phone and email on several occasions regarding providing us with a copy of his orders. We are willing to review the issue if we do receive a copy of the orders. If he did vacate the property before the eviction, we will revise the paperwork.
