      On 7/8/22, my family and I paid for our meals with a VISA debit card. The receipt listed the total as $64.97 for order #0127 paid as cash. However, my bank statement for 06/28/22 to 07/26/22 listed this charge as $67.57. I called the manager (***** at ###-###-####) at the location on the receipt. ***** said ONE sign about the 4% upcharge was posted in the restaurant by the ATM machine. I told her I did not use the ATM machine nor was near it the entire time there. And that I paid with my debit card at the register where the young man did not mention the upcharge fee nor did it appear on my final receipt. ***** also said that many other places charge patrons for paying with a card. I was referred to ******* at the Corporate Office (###-###-####, ext.***). *******'s answering machine directed me to call on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday. I proceeded to call on Monday, 8/15/22 and left a message on the answering machine at 2:50pm with explanation for my call. ******* then left a message for me on 8/17/22 stating that signs are posted and that I could call her with any additional questions. Upon hearing her message, I called back on 8/17/22 at 11:05am and left a second message about the reason for my call but did not hear back from *******. I, therefore, left a 3rd message on 8/22/22 at 11:00am, asking to be called from 11am-1pm or 3pm-5pm which are times I return from picking up my granddaughters from school. I think that posting signs about an additional 4% upcharge is not enough for those who cannot read in English or in their native language or do not have their glasses on hand. I also believe said upcharge should be an item listed on the final receipt to indicate my acknowledgement and acceptance of said amount. I did NOT authorize this upcharge and was not informed verbally of its existence. I had no idea of this added charge until my bank statement arrived and I was balancing my account. Please help me obtain a refund, though minimal. Thanks!
