This is the worst Toyota Dealership. I took had taken my car last year for a belt buckle issue. The warranty covered it and it was fixed. Now yesterday I had the same issue with the belt buckle made an appointment and dropped my car off. I get a call 6 hrs later from a representative stating that the reason is was not clipping was because it had some sticky (juice, soda) or whatever it may have been. He quoted me at $475 since it was not covered by the warranty this time. I declined to have them fix it. I show up to get my car and on the paperwork it says that they recommended to have it replaced. I explained to him that if it is something sticky probably with a degreaser or wd40 it would solve the issue in which he agreed. So I asked him " Why would you recommended to have it replaced if it's not broken" Came home added degreaser, wd40 and the buckle still will not click which means it's obviously broken but they just didn't do their job and replaced the buckle for whatever reason. Plus to top in off I had to pay $199 since the full warranty didn't cover it or should I say since the lack of experience and laziness to do their job. Contacted them as soon as I got home requested to speak to upper management and they assured me that someone would contact me first thing it the morning and its about to be noon. Tried calling them and all i keep getting is voicemails which the obviously don't check. Please to stay away from Toyota of San Bernardino unless you want to get ripped off have want to throw your money away. I will also be contacting the attorney generals office and look into a lawyer to get my money back or issue resolved but at another dealer never in **************************.Review from Pamela H

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the recent experiences my husband and I have encountered with Toyota San Bernardino and Toyota ********* Services. My husband, a terminally ill military veteran, and I, an elderly couple, purchased a Toyota Tundra in March 2024. Initially, everything was satisfactory until Toyota ********* Services began withdrawing money from our account twice on the same day, amounting to two car payments. This issue first occurred in July and then again in August.Upon discovering this, I promptly contacted Toyota ********* Services customer service. However, instead of addressing our concern, they informed me that our account was past due and that we would be charged a late fee. Despite having auto pay set up for the 6th of every month, the representative claimed there was no record of this in the system and insisted that we make an immediate payment over the phone. This situation has put us in a dire financial position, as we are retired and disabled with limited funds. When I requested a refund for the duplicate charges, my request was denied. Furthermore, my repeated attempts to speak with a manager were met with resistance, and I was told I would receive a call within 48 hours, which never happened. Subsequent calls yielded the same unhelpful responses. In an attempt to resolve the matter, I visited the dealership and spoke with the General Manager, but unfortunately, no progress was made. The unauthorized withdrawals and the lack of assistance from both Toyota ********* Services and the dealership have left us feeling defeated and helpless.Given the gravity of this situation and the financial strain it has caused, we are left with no choice but to consider reaching out to the Attorney General if a resolution is not achieved. It is deeply disheartening that a company as reputable as Toyota would allow such a situation to persist, especially when dealing with a vulnerable and loyal customer base.Review from Julie R

Honestly the worst experience I had in a dealer. Brought my vehicle for break change paid them to replace the breaks and do what was necessary to stop the grinding on my vehicle just to return 3 days later because the grinding still there. Worst dealer in the IE. truly disappointed they just take peoples money and have incompetent mechanics.Review from Kristen R

I was in the market for a new car for about a month and a half. While I was coming with the decision on what vehicle I wanted, I concluded that the 2022 Toyota RAV4 XLE Premium was the vehicle that suited my needs the best. I did a lot of research and found that the best deal I would get for it was at Toyota Ontario. They told me that I would have to wait months because all their vehicles were reserved at that time. I requested the exact one at Toyota of San Bernardino. I told them the exact car I wanted and that said they have it coming in and that it should be arriving between that Friday and the following Monday. I told them about the deal that Toyota Ontario was offering, and they told me they would give me the deal. They said that they need to run my credit and they sent me an application through email, but they said in order to reserve it that I need to go down in person because of “privacy” reasons. So, they ran my credit, and I went down in person so that I can reserve it. I get down there and was greeted by Nabeel Ahmed who was my salesperson and the person I talked to on the phone with. I showed him the packet that had the offer that Toyota Ontario had for the 2022 Toyota RAV4 XLE Premium. He did not even glance at the paper. He started putting the numbers in and tried to hide the computer monitor while he was putting the numbers in. The deal I had was for 60 months, I saw him putting in 72 months and he even raised the percentage. When he finished putting in the numbers, he showed me he came back with an extra $110 a month for 72 months versus the deal I had for Toyota Ontario at 60 months! I then said, “What about the deal?” He told me that those numbers “aren’t realistic.” I just felt like he did a bait and switch on me and was acting shady through the whole process. He dinged my credit for absolutely no reason and I went to Toyota Ontario and received the deal that I was promised.Review from Bill W

Toyota of San Bernardino practices predatory lending and misleads their customers. They told me that gap insurance and an extended warranty were mandatory on a used vehicle I wanted to purchase. All other Toyota dealers have both of those options at the discretion of the consumer. They purposely rip off the consumer, very sad.Review from Jared K

I went in talking about getting a new car and the guy I talked to for a while showed me a picture of a car for sale up north that was marked up 10s of thousands of dollars and he told me they don’t do that here. Then after I bought the car I was looking at why the payment was so high and the math didn’t add up so I went to the contract and they marked it up $10,000. Few months later I go in for the service and they said I could come back for the car wash and I asked about it and they complained and said they would do it. They washed the car and waited over an hour to tell me it was ready. I have not had a pleasant experience any of the times I’ve gone to this Toyota.
