On the morning of May 3rd 2022 I pushed my car out to the street Infront of my house not something I do all the time but over the last 15yrs I've lived at this residence I've done before. This was around 6 am I needed to change out a piece of the axle.Which for some people maybe a big deal but for me with my experience. Especially with this car in particular, it's a job I could do fairly quick as I know this car front to back because I built it from the ground up. About halfway through the job around 9 am I got hungry and went inside to eat a bowl of cereal. I heard a commotion outside and went to look only to see my car being prepped for towing. I went outside and spoke to the gentleman letting him know I was right in the middle of doing something and in about 20 minutes would be done. He said I had 5 minutes or it was being towed. Now mind you nobody called to complain about what I was doing and my car has current tags and registration. I wasn't blocking anyone or interfering with anything in any way. In 15 at this house I have never had any city official of any kind stop by and tell me I was doing anything wrong or that my car was a safety concern in anyway. But on this morning I was told that my car was a safety hazard because what if someone walked underneath it and it fell on the mind you I was using 2 separate jacks and jackstands for my own safety. They gave me no opportunity to resolve the situation. I begged and pleaded with the man to show lineincy and if the car was still here in 20minutes they could tow it this of course was met with cold shoulders and deaf ears. Fast forward to now I have the money and try to get the car out to which they said nobody but DOT approved tow companies were allowed on the property and even though they towed my car there they said they refused to tow my car and had no interest in helping me with my vehicle regardless of if I had money over not there is much more to this story them saying different reasons why the tow.

On 5/3/22 Tri City Towing received a call from the San Bernardino police at 10:20 am at **** E ****** Dr. we responded as required by our tow service agreement with the city. they requested us to tow a vehicle they deemed a hazard. on jack stands and no front tires, with the front suspension disassembled. Our tow driver proceeded to hook up vehicle for towing at which time someone came out to question the tow they blocked the tow driver from doing his job. at which time the tow officer requested a police dept supervisor. they waited for the supervisor to arrive. at that time the supervisor made the owner move and had the vehicle towed. So if he disagrees with the reason for the tow that discussion is with the San Bernardino City Police Dept. We received several calls about this vehicle from the owner while we have had it the owner has been told in order to pick up the vehicle he has to go to the city police dept traffic division and obtain a release form from them that's there requirement. As of today 5/15/22 he has not done that so we cant release the car.  On 5/13/22 he called Tri City Towing and advised them he was wanting to come pick-up his vehicle they advised him he still needed the release from the city and that he needed to have a tow come pick it up and tow it out as our insurance dose not allow work to be preformed on vehicles in our lot as it is a liability. He was advised that at the time all our drivers were busy and we were not able to tow the car out. It will take extra time to do this tow with the condition of this vehicle and we would rather not tow it out, but can if needed but our tows are billed on time and this would be expensive he would be better off shopping around other tow company's for a better  deal. the only requirement is that the tow carrier must have a motor carrier permit. he advised us he was having AAA tow the vehicle out that is not a problem. except AAA wants the vehicle on the street, not in our tow yard. so we have done everything we contracted with the city to do, and the owner has not done what he is required to do to pick-up his vehicle. with that being said we can not adjust the billing or return the vehicle at this time.  Thank you. **** *******.
