On 06/29/2023 (2 days ago) i purchased a 2020 Honda Accord from Victory Honda of San Bruno. the first incident happened within 24 hours. the key fob battery went dead and rendered the vehicle powerless for an hour until i went to local to my area (******* , **) Honda dealership who provided remedy. the next incident occurred 24 hours later, the vehicle stops while driving stating transmission and brake system failure via dashboard messages. as it was after hours, i had to have vehicle towed to my home. the next morning i called dealership i spoke with service department associate ***** who advised that i the purchaser would be responsible for getting the vehicle back for service department for review. I spoke with ****** regarding arbitration information. At which time he had no knowledge of this information and hung up abruptly without remedy to problem.Initial Complaint

Mid 2022 I noticed the paint on my 2017 HRV was fading. I reported this to the *** the Victory Honda technician, who took photos and submitted a claim to the warranty department. He told me it will take a couple of months for a response. I called EJ every month to check on the status and he said give it another couple of weeks. Eventually he said the warranty department lost the claim and he would need to submit another claim and that he no longer had the photos and I would need to bring the car back so he can retake the photos, which I did. Supposedly EJ resubmitted the claim to the warranty department and once again it would take a couple of months for a response. Only recently ** said the warranty department denied the claim since the vehicle was in a auto accident. The car was hit on the passenger door not the hood and was repaired be Victory Hondas body shop. ** suggested I speak with ************************* the manager. EJ mentioned only white vehicles had paint issues not silver vehicles. I made numerous attempts to contact ***** in person, via phone, and email. He never responded and refused to see me when I showed up at the dealership. Today I was informed by an employee of Victory Honda that EJ lied and never submitted a claim to the warranty department. He said they would have denied it anyway. I have been given the runaround since 2022 and continuously lied to. And now since their deceit, fraud, misrepresentation, my entire hood has faded as well as other areas of my vehicle. I see no other option but to seek legal advice. Upon my research I discovered there is a complaint filed in the court again this business. I want to make the public aware of what this business has done to me. This experience has and continues to be frustrating!Initial Complaint

2/2/2022 11:00 am I received a call from ******* in sales at Victory Honda, San Bruno to setup an appointment to bring in my Honda for a formal sells offer. We set up a time at 11:00 am on 2/2/2022. When I arrived I was immediately verbally assulted by ************************* the pre-owned manager. He told me my black Honda was a piece of s*** not worth more than $1500. He forced me out the front door and sternly walked to my car and started blaming me for exterior problems with scratches, dents, and rust on the car. He shoved a car fax in my face and would not provide a written offer for the vehicle. Very unprofessional service on the side of verbal assault. I dont even know who this person is and he was very threatening and verbally abusive to me. This sales manager had a lot of animosity toward me, was very rude and harsh. I feel like I should not have been treated this way and other customers shouldnt be treated this badly by Honda hired staff.Initial Complaint

Absolute trash here! I wouldn't recommend this place to an enemy! Pure liars. Not sure how they sleep at night! It's cliche that car salesman/ women are liars but this place takes the cake. I totally get that it's my fault for not looking better at what I'm signing but to take advantage of the situation for financial gain is evil. I was told my car is 4wheel drive and I would NOT need chains for snow. I was under the impression I was BUYING my car. NOT LEASING IT. I never EVER once even said the word lease!!! Now after two years of payments I'm getting calls that my lease is almost up. Excuse me? WHAT LEASE!!!!!!!And you literally told me it's 4 wheel drive and I won't need chains!!!!!! Come to find out that's a lie! So not only did you hand me and watch me sign the wrong papers - you put my family in danger! I understand that I signed the papers. But I was under the complete impression I was BUYING my car!!! YOU knew that I was signing the WRONG papers. You watched me SUEHAIR! You knew what you were doing and probably so happy that you got me!!!! And to put my family in danger by literally telling me I can go in the snow as I sit there w a 1 month old and a 2 year! As I'm asking to BUY a car that's safe for my family!!!!!How do you sleep at night SueHair??? You can come at me all day saying, well you should of known what you were signing!!!! I get that. But I put my trust into you and that you actually had ethics and morals and that you yourself handed me the correct papers to sign. If I actually said I wanted a lease AND I NEVER ONCE USED THAT WORD then why wasn't I told the terms and conditions to this said lease?????? You saw an opportunity and took it!!!!! No cares or anything for my safety and family. You are disgusting to me as a person and the entire company!!!!!Initial Complaint
