I had my brakes redone in February here. Someone worked on them prior and didnt do the job right so brought it to this shop. I knew the job was bad and Streamline made note of parts being backwards. They ended up putting the parts in backwards anyway and my rear axle came apart because the brake parts were done wrong. My mechanic caught this because I was driving it when it came apart and I took it into his shop. His name is ******************* and his phone is *************** I want a full refund, refund for the new repairs, and I think splitting the cost of my lost wages for an event I am supposed to work and now cant make. I typically make $2500 or more at the event I am missing and would happily provide information from the person hosting it if needed. If they could refined the cost of the repair, $500 for the new repair, and $1000 I would happily avoid taking this to small claims court as this is stressful for everyone involved. I believe I paid $850ish for the job but I dont have the receipt on me at the moment so I put an estimated amount below. I will happily go into more detail via email or phone call if needed and can provide receipts by Monday of the new repair costs.
