    SpeedMates Home Services Refund and Exchange Policy

    At SpeedMates Home Services, we are committed to providing high-quality appliance and HVAC repair services. We strive for customer satisfaction and stand behind our work. To ensure clarity and fairness, please review our Refund and Exchange Policy below.

    1. Scope of Policy

    This policy applies to all services provided by SpeedMates Home Services, including appliance repairs, HVAC services, and installation services.

    2. Service Guarantee

    We guarantee our services for 90 days from the date of completion. If you experience issues related to the service provided within this period, please contact us immediately. Our technicians will investigate and address any valid concerns.

    3. Eligibility for Refunds and Exchanges

    Refunds or exchanges may be granted under the following conditions:

    • Service Issues: If the problem persists after multiple attempts to repair, we will re-evaluate the issue. If it is determined that the issue was not resolved due to our service, we may offer a refund or re-service at no additional cost.
    • Incorrect Service: If the service provided was not what was agreed upon in the service contract, and cannot be rectified, a refund may be considered.
    • Parts Failure: If a part provided by SpeedMates Home Services fails within the warranty period (3 to 12 months depending on the part), we will replace the part free of charge.

    4. Non-Eligibility for Refunds and Exchanges

    Refunds or exchanges will not be provided under the following conditions:

    • Customer Misuse: Damage caused by customer misuse, neglect, or unauthorized repairs.
    • Third-Party Interference: Services performed by other technicians or companies after our service.
    • Normal Wear and Tear: Issues arising from normal wear and tear or aging of the appliance or system.
    • Non-Service Related Issues: Problems not related to the service provided, such as electrical or plumbing issues.

    5. Requesting a Refund or Exchange

    To request a refund or exchange, please follow these steps:

    1. Contact Us: Notify us within 30 days of the service issue at [email protected] or call us at (888) 610-6500.
    2. Provide Documentation: Include your service receipt, a detailed description of the issue, and any relevant photos or videos.
    3. Investigation: Our team will conduct an investigation to determine the cause of the issue. This may involve a follow-up visit by our technician.

    6. Investigation Process

    • Initial Review: Upon receiving your request, we will conduct an initial review within 5 business days.
    • Technician Follow-Up: If necessary, a technician will be scheduled to inspect the issue at no additional cost to you.
    • Decision: After the investigation, we will communicate our findings and the decision regarding your request. This process may take up to 15 business days from the date of your request.

    7. Resolution

    • Approved Refunds: If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 10 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
    • Approved Exchanges or Re-Service: If an exchange or re-service is approved, we will schedule the service at the earliest convenience.

    8. Changes to Policy

    SpeedMates Home Services reserves the right to modify this Refund and Exchange Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting.
