Date: October 28, 2021 The amount of money paid to the business: $137.00.The business was to provide: phone repair by replacing the screen and battery to my I Phone.The nature of the dispute is: After the I Phone was fixed by replacing the screen and battery by the Owner of the business establishment. I noticed that my I Phone was "NOT' working properly after the repairs were made. So I mentioned it to the Owner and he responded with a "rude nasty attitude towards me" by saying quote "to what extend did you know the I Phone was working". I responded that "my I Phone was working properly normal before the repairs were made" and just needed the screen and battery replaced. Then the Owner behind counter "stood up and flexed his chest outwards and clinched his fists to provoke me to a confrontation which made me feel very unwelcomed and racially discriminated by my tattoos" because I'm Mexican and the Owner is white. My son who was with me witnessed the situation as it unfolded. I "told" the Owner that with that attitude I will call the Police and he just goofed it off like it was a "joke" but the matter is serious to where the Business needs to be investigated by the BBB. I also witnessed that the Owner mistreated elderly customers who were inside the business at the moment. In addition; the phone rang while the Owner was attending me and he picked up the phone and "rudely" told the customer "NO" and "slammed the phone to hang up". The Owner refunded the cost of the battery, but the phone was not fixed. So as a valued customer I was not treated well and satisfied with the outcome of the repair of the phone. Most importantly the Owner's nasty rude attitude towards the customers including my son and I. Therefore; I am filling a serious complaint against this business called Batteries Plus Bulbs located at *********************************************. The resolvement to this situation in a timely manner is greatly appreciated. Thank you.Business response

Customer has already been refunded. Not sure about all the talk of the "owner" as he does not work in the store. Issue has been resolved.
