company refuses to honor promotion on my account because i had an account i didn't even remember creating several years ago with an old phone number. the system made no effort to inform me that i had another account when i created the account under my existing phone number. they even sent me an email AFTER i verified my id, informing me that they added additional promo credits to my account and encouraging me to place an order, only to then make it impossible to use said promo credits when i tried to order. after trying to place my order multiple times and having it give a generic time out message i finally reached out to customer service for help figuring out what the issue was. only then did they inform me about the old account and had the nerve to say i was violating their policy by creating an account with my new phone number. it's horrible customer service ***** blame the customer for an error that was clearly their system's fault 2) add credits to my account then make it impossible to use them honestly all this feels like a bait and switch tactic. they had my id so they knew who i was and if i was ineligible to use promo credits they could have told me as soon as my id was verified. instead they chose to then send me additional credits to use then proceeded to make it impossible for me to use them. on top of that their customer service chat hung up on me multiple times before the conversation was over. they also claimed to be escalating my concern and said a manager would reach out to me soon -- i waited 9 days and never heard from anyone so i then reached out again. they then claimed to be escalating it again and said they were sending me a confirmation email that never arrived. when i let the rep know i never received a confirmation email they hung up on me again. just a terrible experience all around.
