      El cycer used misleading photos and inaccurate descriptions which led to my purchase and refused to refund.I purchased a vintage Dior saddle bag on Oct 28 from El cycer ($2890 + $15 for shipping). They showed three photos of the bag (attached below) and mentioned "excellent" condition and "no flaws to note". However, the bag I received has a very obvious dent at the center of the front, a few marks, some black spots, and some minor dents. The photos they showed do not reveal any of these with the ***************. I tried to remove the dent in different ways and failed. The dent looks like unevenness in the silk fabric weave or caused by heavy press.I contacted customer service with photos of the flaws and said I want a return. I was refused and told that the dent was shown in their photo, the marks are part of the print and they do not consider these as flaws. Their photo does not reveal the real condition, and no one can tell there is a dent in their photo since the flaws are obscured by ******************** can tell if the marks are dirt or print by their color tone. Dirt on the bag is stand-alone gray spots, while prints are in other colors. They indicate that my iPhone over-sharpens the dent and makes it look worse, but what is in my photo is exactly what I see. Plus based on their scaling rule, items with apparent wear should not be listed as "excellent". (related photos attached)I was told everything is final sale according to their policy, but they can make a one-time exception to offer an exchange or credit. However, they do not have the same bag and do not know when they will have the same bag.I feel deceived and trapped. They used misleading photos and descriptions to make a sale and do not allow people to refund with their policy. Now I have an expensive defective bag and cannot get my money back.

      To Whom This May **************************************** for bringing this to our attention. We are selling used vintage items that are up to thirty years old. The item details clearly state that this handbag is "excellent," not "pristine," and on our rating scale in our FAQ, we note that "excellent" means, "There is minor or imperceptible wear consistent with age and use." The alleged flaws the buyer is pointing out are wrinkles in the silk and marks in the actual print of the bag. We asked the buyer to steam the bag to remove the wrinkles, and they refused. As stated in our FAQ, all sales are final, and we clearly state, "We encourage all questions before purchase, as all sales are final." We made an exception and offered a site credit, which will never expire. The buyer also refused this. We have done everything to accommodate this buyer. Unfortunately, we cannot help buyers who have remorse.

       

      Our exception offer stands; we will accept the handbag for site credit. If not, we deem this matter closed.
