On May 31, 2024, my daughter had an appointment at ******* to get ready for her graduation. She called to let them know she was running late. She returned home to pick up the gift certificate she planned to use to pay. The associate who answered the phone said my daughter had 3 minutes to get there. My daughter arrived 15 minutes late and they could not accommodate her even though the service booked was for 45 minutes to an hour. We were charged $59 for the full time period. We paid for the time and the time had been blocked so there was no reason they could not accommodate my daughters request to have the dry style service, which is ***** minutes. There was plenty of time in the allotted time period I paid for to receive that service. They dont accept walk ins and declined to provide the shortened dry style because they are fully booked. One of the stylists was booked for the time remains in our appointment. Three stylists were sitting around on their phones. They would rather take my money and not work. When my daughter got home panicked about not being ready for graduation, I called the store and the supervisor, *******, hung up the phone. I tried to call the corporate Dry Bar phone number and was told I have to contact the manager of the store. I tried to call the store again and was provided an invalid email to the owner. I have tried to resolve the issue, but I have been unsuccessful in contacting the branch owner. I gifted this to my daughter because I was given a gift certificate and now Ive been charged for service they wouldnt provide.
