I am 63 years old and had been seeking remote work to compensate my earnings. I had applied on many job sources online including "craigslist.com, indeed.com, careerbuilder.com, etc. for remote data entry in late August. On 8/26, I was contacted via text by a person by the name of *****************************. He said he was the Vice President of a company called ***************** Service stationed out of *********, Ca. He explained that he had found my application on "craigslist.com" for data entry/payroll (my Resume is on LinkedIn shows I have payroll experience) and that he wanted to hire me to do payroll for his staff and vendors who are local in *****, where I live. So naively I got excited and told him I was interested, but that I was weary this could be a scam so I asked him to forward a copy of his business card, which he did but the pic was very blurry and I could make out the words vaguely. He proceeded to ask me to purchase a precise payroll printer plus check paper needed to process payroll from my home. I purchased the printer plus the check paper. Now, as you are probably thinking..how could I fall for this scam?!? Honestly, I didn't see it until my daughter explained to me that no company with business legal sense and compliance will just send a list of personal information on staff members and vendors to a random person that has not been vetted or interviewed. I am so ashamed, and should have known better. I realized I had been scammed but was not sure how because I had not made any investment except for purchasing this printer and check paper which I thought I could just return. The company this individual advised me to use was VersaCheck. I received the products two days ago and now I am having trouble contacting them for the process to return the items for a refund. Hence..the scam. I have emailed them twice and called them several times to no avail. I have attached the email receipt of my purchase and the text messages. Please advise my next step.

I recently purchased software online. I thought I had selected the option of having a physical disc sent to me but after the purchase was made I received an email with a download. I sent and email to their support team asking for a physical disc since I didn't download the software. I never receive and answer so I sent another email requesting a refund and I still have not received anything.

This company is a big scam I am using them for 4 years, and I very frustrate how this company will treat their customer, stay away from them, here is my story I printed allot of checks at once an for some reason it didnt come out from my printer, so I marked that it didnt print well, and printed it again, and because of my printer error I had to reprint them a few times, but Versacheck deducted from my credit every time I reprinted, which cause that I paid a few dollars for each check, I reached out to them, an their nasty answer was that I nee to pay for every time separately Make your decision

I've been a client of Versacheck for over *************************************************************** to change my email and email login for Versacheck. After resubmitting my information to Verscheck's online website as requested by the site, I was unable to print checks and was informed by the website that I needed to purchase check prints and pay for their bank account re-validation. which I did and tried to re-print without any success. I kept getting error messages from their application so I attempted to contact them via email located on their site. I attempted 3 times and received an automated reply stating someone would be in contact with me based on my issue. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive any follow-up email, call, etc. based on my inquiry and issue. I attempted to call their toll free number but it gives you instructions to go to their site to contact via email and then disconnects the call. All I needed from them was to link or correct my account after I re-paid for their services which I already head under my original account. The older email address that's no-longer valid: info@techupgraders. The new email address is: *************************
