    I had solar installed from Calafata for about three years now. Although I did some comparisons with other big players like Bakers Electric, Telsa, etc. I went ahead and signed up with them. I put the trust in them because a couple of my good neighbors have them and said great things about them. Things didn't start well when I first received my electric ****. I put in my complaints because I'm not understanding why my monthly bills were higher than said $30 which I was told for activation or agreement with SDG&E monthly, which I'm fine with. I was told from Calafata gentleman who sold me to wait for true up or was a bad year of not enough energy generated from the Sun or that I need to have my A/C unit evaluated. I swallowed my pride and paid my yearly bills for two years in a row. Again, in my opinion, I think it should have been less than $500 a year but I ended up paying over $1,000 each year.End of July every year is my true up ****. Year 3, on August 2020, I received a **** for $353.08 and called and was told to wait for true up, which okay I get it but weird to me. On September 2020, **** was for $515.99 charged and this time I called ******* to find out why. A very nice representative told me that they don't received any electrical energy received from my house/panels. For October, my **** was for $382.46. I called Calafata gentleman back and he said that he'll have someone out soon to diagnose. It took over a week for someone to come out and another 2 weeks to get the bad inverter (SolarEdge) which was the problem. One of the reasons why I went with Calafata was that they promised me that they have ways of checking in or letting me know if my systems aren't generated electricity. I guess not. It took 3 months August - October before my systems back up again.August -October 2020 **** total $1,251.53. My July true up was $1,213.35. I was very compromising of asking if the company can help reimbursed $600 due to bad inverter for the three months of not generating electricity. I was DENIED because the owners emailed me back along with the agreement that I signed stating that they are not responsible for such loss. WOW, shamed on me for not reading the contract/agreement thoroughly. Before you do sign up with them or anyone please do READ the FINE PRINTS. In my opinion, I wouldn't have gone with them if I knew such language in the agreement. A bad inverter that they provided me less than 2 years old. What's next?
