      Working with ************************* (***********************************************) at Mission Fed was AMAZING! I shopped a dozen places for mortgage rates, and **** was by far the most competitive. Beyond that, he was extremely responsive throughout the process, from discussing various loan options, to liaising with our real estate agent and a seller's real estate agent, to quarterbacking every aspect of underwriting, to seeing every detail through to the close of escrow. We originally had a 21 day escrow, and ended up closing in 17 days.Great rates, extremely responsive, trustworthy -- no-brainer to work with ****. Could not recommend him more.

      This credit union absolutely ***** when it comnes to technology. I could not get a retirement account transferred to them because they had to do it on paper which cost me 6 weeks and I lost the good CD rate. When I complained, they tried to blame the other institutiuon.Then, today, I entered my password once incorrectly, and I cannot have a;ccess to my account for 24 hours because they are complete dunderheads using 1980's technology, and they are such Luddites they cannot figure any other way. I made 4 separate 4 phone calls, and nothing happened. I hate MFCU. I am fed up with the idiots who work there, and the *** should be fired. This is it!!!!

      I have never experienced worse customer service with a financial institution in my entire life than the MULTIPLE poor experiences at the ******** MFCU location. From the moment I set foot in their office to now has been issue after issue. All I wanted to do was apply for an auto loan with a pre-approval offer I was preselected for. They treated me like garbage because I didnt have an appointment and I was inconveniencing them. After barely being helped after waiting in the office for over 30 minutes, I was told to go home and make an appointment for a later time and bring back the necessary documents they needed. I did that we arrived five minutes early for our appointment yet again was forced to sit waiting over 40 minutes for an appointment with our two kids in ***. The day before they couldnt help me because appointments were prioritized yet we have an appointment and were not made a priority? Then that lady doesnt want to help us at all. My husband is so irritated he said were out lets go elsewhere. But because of the interest rate and $200 cash back offer I go speak to the manager. Were given someone else to work with and he is able to get the loan completed and funded. I asked multiple times about the cash back. We were ensured we would receive the $200 as a direct deposit 30 days after our first payment. Well we pay 30 days come and go and nothing. I call customer service told I have to speak to the bank. Email the banker we worked with. He says h*** follow up. Nothing! Over 6 weeks of calls and back and forth and THEN we have an assistant manager say we didnt qualify for the pre-approval?! FIVE MONTHS LATER is when were told we didnt qualify when we were told we did in the bank? Ummmm no! This is a complete bait and switch! We should have been told at the time of signing documents that we didnt qualify. We want to pay off our loan in full and be refunded all interest paid to this shady organization. This is not ok!

      I have had a terrific experience with Mission federal ********* for MANY years *********** at the Bank is good THE problem I have is GREAT difficulty to get a phone communication I am old and online communication can be exasperating Please HELP

      I walked into Mission Federal Credit Union in Clairemont ********* ** to ask about another Ira.I misplaced my very expensive glassed. I called their 1800 number. Got little to no help.Went back to ask if anyone had found my glasses. I was told they found a pair of glasses ,but the young lady couldn't find them. The General Manager claimed they found no glasses.They cost me a lot of money. Why are they not telling the truth?

      These people that are telemarketers for them are rude they called left a message like I ll keep your account open wrong I have no accounts with these losers then I call them back to see what the heck they are talking about and they hang up on me I tried several times just to get hung up on they should be investigated

      I barely opened an account with this bank like three weeks ago. Really nice people working there Inside the branch. As for the call center I would say that that's a hundred percent negative. I got transferred multiple times. The reps are not very polite. No one seems to know what they're doing. Come to find out you can't transfer or pay out more than $500 dollars when you use zelle with them the first time or first few times. Then for 3 daya after that you can only zelle increments of $100. Thats their grace ****** policy. So if you just open the bank account and you plan to make your car payment or send money to somebody else more than $500. The first few times you're solely going to be mistaken.

      So I did bank with them for 10 plus year. earlier this year there was a fraud situation on my account were my online account information was stolen and I was told it was my own fault they charged off my account for 8k and "closed" it I took a loan out and it went to the "closed" mission federal account as well as my paycheck for my pay period at the time again the account is "closed" and I've already changed banks and put that bank information for my work and for the loan I receive lf as well but it was still sent to the "closed" account. I was told once mission federal rejected the incoming funds they would be sent to my correct bank but they didn't they took the funds after one of their employees said they would reject the funds. I am writing this now because again I was sent a letter saying the account is closed but it isn't inrecently received funds from the **** of *** from ******* a child tax that mission fed is taking from me. so to update everything after being a loyal customer for over a decade they but me debt and put a charge off on my account for 8k then took another **** from me after closing my account. DO NOT TRUST THIS BANK

      Ive been a member with an auto loan for over 3 years, had an insurance is*** where it wasnt updated and I didnt receive one call or text. They added and additional $200 a month to my auto payment and when I realized and fixed it they STILL charged the additional amount anyway. Fast forward, one year, same situation, same result. They added another $200 to my account per month, froze my auto pay. Did not call or email and I only found out when I woke up and my truck was gone. Played phone tag for 3 days before they told me they stopped taking payments from my account and Im not responsible to pay $800 a month(twice the original amount) because they cant take off additional charges they added to the loan. This isnt a credit union. Its a scam and they have 0 customer service, and dont care to fix THEIR mistake. As a veteran who usually banks with navy federal I can tell you this place is a trash establishment and they will absolutely f**k you to their fullest extent with no remorse. I am going to refinance my loan with NFCU and contact their front office with my attorney to *** them for the money that they are STEALING.

      To whom it may concern:

      This letter is in response to the Better Business Bureau complaint made by ***************************** regarding Mission Fed, which we received on May 9, 2023. In the complaint ******************** expressed dissatisfaction regarding Mission Fed increasing his monthly auto payment due to an insurance issue. He claims that he did not receive notification via phone call or e-mail and the situation ultimately resulted in the repossession of his vehicle.

      Mission Fed takes all complaints seriously and a members service experience is important to **. We have thoroughly investigated this matter and confirmed that proper procedures and regulations were followed, and our actions were within the terms of Mr. ********* loan agreement.

      We have extensive documentation in Mr. ********* loan file showing that we did everything possible to collaborate with him and his insurance company to remedy the situation. His vehicle insurance lapsed twice, which resulted in force place insurance and the increase of his monthly payment. His loan was consistently delinquent and Mission Fed representatives worked with him for over a year to remedy the situation. We have detailed notes in his loan file regarding when we communicated with ********************, via phone, letters, and e-mails and the content of the communication. ******************** was well informed regarding the status of his account.

      It was not until the loan was severely delinquent, we no longer had a current home address and Mr. ********* failure to return our phone call that left ** with no alternative but to repossess our collateral. The situation was remedied on May 8, 2023.

      We hope that this demonstrates that Mission Fed is a business that cares about its members and attempts to provide the best service possible, even in the most difficult of situations.
