I am filing a complaint for a transaction that occurred on January 29th, 2022. I paid $699.60 for the services of an employee named ***** and an assistant who's name I did not catch. I've been her client for several year and she has done a good job. On January 29th I came in for a full highlight and a trim. I came in with very long, healthy hair and left the salon with my hair cut way over the length I was comfortable. When I tried to complain in the salon she told me she had someone waiting and I just said okay. After I washed the salon product out of my hair, my hair was falling out in clumps. I also had burnt pieces all over. I consulted with several other hairstylists all who said she overcut my hair to cover up the fact she had left the lightener in too long. I informed ***** of this and said that I wanted at the very least a partial refund. She ignored my requests for a refund and offered for me to come in. I didn't feel comfortable coming in since she had already ruined my hair, I was not sure what she could even do for me. I did ask her and she wasn't sure either.I am writing this complaint after writing a yelp review to which ***** laughed at. I also have a friend who goes to that salon and she has informed me that I am a running joke in that salon now. This makes me very uncomfortable and is very unprofessional. I was hoping with some months the problem would get resolved but unfortunately that's not the case. I would have gone to the owner of the salon, but they are romantically involved so I didn't feel like it would make much of a difference.
