On March 23, 2022, I placed an order (order number ***************) on ******** Marketplace to purchase 10 rare purple bleeding heart seeds from American Container, Inc. for the amount of $19.38. ($13.37 for the item, $5 shipping, and $1.01 taxes.) On March 24, 2022, I received a package from Amazon containing these seeds with a gift receipt from a *****************************. The gift receipt contained a QR code that linked the exact product purchased, as well as to send a thank you. Confused, as the order on ******** said "delivered," I checked the **** tracking number from the Amazon package against the tracking number provided by American Container, Inc. on my ******** order. They matched. (1) The seller of the item I received from Amazon is NOT American Container, Inc.(2) The price of the item that was sent to me from Amazon $9.90, without taxes or shipping fees charged at all. $9.90 is the final price.(3) I have made contact with American Container, Inc. requesting the refund of the difference due to their fraudulent sales practice on this item. (I have the emails.) They are denying the refund. It boils down to them falsely advertising and selling a product as theirs, charging nearly double the cost of the item, and refusing to accept responsibility for their corrupt actions.
