I booked two superior suites for May 31-June 5, 2024. The room description stated that each room included two queen ***** a pull out sofa bed, a separate living area, and a walk in closet. When we arrived, each room only had a futon instead of a pull out sofa bed, and there was no separate living area or walk in closet. At first I didnt say anything because I thought maybe the owner didnt know the difference between a pull out sofa bed and a futon, but then I noticed that other rooms, which were not as expensive as mine, actually had a pull out sofa bed. When I saw this, I immediately went to management to complain about the misrepresentation of my two rooms. I feel that I deserve a partial refund for the discrepancy in the room accommodations I received versus what I was promised in the room descriptions. My teenagers had to sleep on hard, small futons the entire trip when they should have had a pull out sofa bed.Initial Complaint

I booked a room from Ocean Villa Inn on 9/8/23 via Priceline.Com the total on my receipt from priceline was $328.19 - when the room was charged to my card - they charged $425.16 and then a separate charge of $100. I called to ask for a refund not understanding why they're was a difference. The manager claimed to me that they charged me $212.75 in damages because my service dog left some dog hair in the room. They claim even service animals are not allowed in the rooms. This is a violation of my *** rights. Additionally they claim I gave my dog a shower in thier room which is a blatant fabrication as my dog wouldn't have fit in the tiny shower & the rain spout design of the shower wouldn't be helpful for a dog wash. This is also a hotel that claims to be Dog friendly. They said they Charged part of the service fee for "blood all over the room" - I had my period start earlier then expected and I did have some spotting on the sheets and a single wash cloth. They also claimed i wrapped my dog in thier comforter when i left and carried my dog out wrapped in the comforter. My dog is a 100 lb Lab/Dalmation mix and i rely on her for help - there's no way I'm carrying her wrapped in anything! So they blatantly lied and fabricated Exaggerations in order to over charge me for my stay. While there, I did note several safety hazardserves in the facilities. Including a lack of proper fire hazard safety alarms/ smoke detectors. Is mold in the ice maker. Is visible mold in common areas And in the bathroom. Broken locks. Rust and corrosion near the pool... overall the place is a dump and they are Extorting clients for additional money with lies. When I asked for a refund They told me that this was managements ************ would need to call my credit card company for a complaint. They claim to have pictures of damage - refused to send them to me.
