Jan 28, 2024, I went to your store to purchase groceries, like I did on a regular basis. I bought ground beef that was within the date. I purchased all the other items that I planned to make beef taco bowls feom tour store as well including cheese that was on the opposite wall but also refrigeratored. I went home and made my meal within the next hr. I started by giving my 11 yr old child her food first then myself. As I tasted the first few bites I noticed something tasted off. I then starter tasting every item separately. When I got to the ground beef packaging, I smelled it and it had a rancid smell. I immediately stopped by child from eating but she ate so much already. I got my reciept and called the store. I asked for a Manager and ******* got on the phone with me. She proceeded to tell me that she was sorry and that she asked her staff to remove all of rhe ground beef from the shelf since they looked discolored and were having issues with the beef and it was bad. I told her we already ate the bad beef and all she said was she was so sorry and to bring it in for a refund. By 10/11pm that night my daughter woke up from being asleep, throwing up. She proceeded to throw up the rest of rhe night on and off and then I started to also throw up around 1 am. I threw up so much I had broken blood vessels around my eye sockets and in one of my eyes. The following day, my daughter started having diarrhea. I luckily did not. My child was seen by her dr and recieved nausea medication and was off school and extra curricular activities for a few days. My child is on an IEP so missing school pushes her behind even more. She is also on a transfer to another school and without proper attendance, can be kicked out. After going back to school on Thursday that week, she proceeded to still not feel well and by the weekend again, she was in bed with stomach cramping and nausea. Within two weeks she got covid bc her immune system was compromised from the bad food. She missed school...
