We hired a landscaper by the name of *************************, owner of Grace Landscape SD (https://www.gracelandscapesd.com/), to do some junk hauling and to place sod and irrigation in our yard. There is no address listed for this company on his website. We discussed how we want to remove rocks from our yard in addition to the junk and plants. He obtained a dumpster through a 3rd party and told me that the size of the dumpster should be enough to for the job. He started working on this 5/20. We were concerned about the pace of his work given that the dumpster was schedule to be returned 5/28. My wife began to express her concerns and ******* responded "Do we have a problem?" in an aggressive manner. He then said "Do I get a prize if I get this done early?" in a sarcastic fashion. On 5/25, he had yet to place the rocks in the dumpster. When he had arrived on our property that day on 5/25, I asked him about the rocks and he began to berate me, saying I was "being negative," and was acting in an aggressive manner. My wife, who is 20 weeks pregnant, felt uncomfortable and threatened by this interaction. 5/26, I mentioned to ******* that he did not complete all aspects of our signed contract, which include grading of the property and adding a fence to the newly laid sod (pictures attached). When confronted about this, ******* became standoffish and unapproachable. 5/27, the dumpster company came and said that due to the manner in which the junk and rocks were placed and the shear overall weight, he could not take the dumpster from our property. I spent the subsequent days hauling out some of the rocks in an effort to reduce the weight. 6/2, the dumpster company finally took away the dumpster. Today, 6/3, I was informed that there was substantial overweight fees from the dumpster company, which completely threw me off guard. I spoke to ******* about this and he was aggressive over the phone. My wife and I feel threatened by his actions and do not feel safe in our own home.
