Subject: Inmate World LLC, ************************ ********************************************************************** ************* ************ (said new number in email but not answering 12/28/2021)******************************** We hired ************************ to help with an inmate in **************** back in July 2021. At that point, he said he would ask for all papers need from the *******************. After reading everything about the inmate, he told us he was able to help and the cost would be $5,00.00 NTE. We made a down payment of $1,200.00 on Sept 13, 21 and another payment of the $1,200.00 on Aug 21,21. Things seem to be going well. We had some phone call, little emails back and forth. But, as time went on, his communications got less and less to the point that now he will not return our emails or phone calls. To date, he has not supplied us any information and always have a reason, like COVID, internet was down, etc. The other day I tried calling the office to find the number listed for Inmate World and what I have used in the past, is now called All State Judgement Recovery. Inmate World also has a business license with the ****************, listed Managing Member as ***********************. ***** has told us there main Headquarter is in *****. Neither of these locations have a listed phone number, only emails to be in contact with them.My hope would be maybe we could get our money back and most important, we do not want anyone else to lose money or be lied to by *****. If you can find anything or give us any hope regarding this matter, we would so apricate it. They have not provided services for money rendered. They are suppose to be a paralegal service and suppose to be filing a document. Ive paid $500 of the $1000 ****. Ive seen no indication that anything has been done or filed on behalf of my sons case. I want a refund. I have attempted to call and text ********************* multiple times with no success.Business response

Our customers are very important to us and while we have been in the process of expanding to additional offices, we apologize for not staying in communication better with our customer and her son. There has been some difficulty with the phones and accepting calls from the prison where her son ****** is serving his sentence. This of course makes the legal work difficult due to the poor mail system at **************. We will however, get a copy of the work that has been prepared for this customer out to her and her son this week and thanks for the opportunity to do better.Initial Complaint

I'm typing to express customer service issues. That have not been resolved. The service provided has not been documented and the company stole money from genuine people who really needed help. The Company also tried to slander my name and good faith. All that I asked, before seeking legal counsel or bringing the issue to the courts attention, was to refund the money that was sent because the service was not in any way beneficial to the purpose intended. We asked as friends for help and the company took the money and said they would help. Dissatisfaction is not the issue at hand but the fact that the Company is trying to dispose of their involvement in possible illegal activities and to make it seem as if we were well aware of their intentions, instead of being honest and acknowledging what was required. That I needed legal attention or that the business could not provide the service for which I was asking but instead they said they would help and took the money and expect happiness.Business response

I did respond to the complaint and I answered ****************** and I am firm in that we will not be refunding ANY money as the **** originally was for ******* whereby his friend forwarded ****** and stated that there was many attempts to send an additional ****** to be followed by the balance. Payments never followed and ************** whom I opened the account with and ****************** were informed along the way as to our work.I am also firm in that I told them that the document they wanted filed IMMEDIATELY could not be notarized as they were in prison and were not able to be present at the same time, and to do otherwise would be illegal and unethical. The fact is that our office expended over $375.00 in billable hours once we had found hat the additional document he wanted filed would violate law, so we informed him of this and he was incensed and stated he wanted a full refund. We simply will not do so.Our Integrity is too important to us to do what they wanted done after the work order was started and work began.
