Friday, May 26, 2023. I towed my motorcycle in to have my rear tube on my *** R9T replaced. The shop scratched up my rim, my headlight, and highway bars. They deny liability, but I have six people who can attest that my motorcycle did not enter Clairemont Cycle Supply in the damaged state that I picked it up in. The shop owes me for these items.Business response

On 5/26/23 we received a call regarding a bike with a flat rear tire. The customer stated he had previously installed new tires at another shop and he would bring the bike in for evaluation. Several hours later the bike showed up on a large flat bed tow truck. It was not observed how the bike was secured or unloaded on the truck as it was pushed by the driver up to our shop. Upon inspection it was determined the bike would need a rear tube replacement. The work was performed the same day by a veteran tech with no problems at all. Customer picked up the bike that afternoon and stated he was very happy with the repair. The following day the customer called several times stating the tire was flat and the rim was scratched. We instructed the customer to bring the bike in for inspection. We have never seen the bike or heard from the customer prior to this notice from the ********************. We don't believe any damage was done to the wheel and definitely to the other parts of the bike at our business as stated. It is very likely damage occurred from the tow truck and bike being incorrectly secured.
