All the complaints I see is in regards to the monthly subscription but upon signing up for a sweepstakes it does clearly indicate that you will be charged monthly until you cancel by contacting them and it provides the contact information. Just pay attention. I signed up for their sweepstakes last week and it was clear that I will indeed be charged until I cancel. You also have the option of buying merch for entries. Idk but pay attention and stop making invalid disputes because you cant read.

I am 20 years old. I never entered a give away before. And thought what the heck, 30 entries? 50K plus a restomod Chevelle? Why not. Turns out, I signed up for a recurring billing membership. I was not made aware of this until AFTER I PAID. At no point before the transaction was I made aware of this. How very sneaky of You guys. I want My ***** back. It's been not even two hours since I made My mistake. You guys should be more clear.Restomods Response

It looks like you weren't interested in speaking over the phone.We explicitly state on the sign-up page that the membership is in fact a recurring product, which can be cancelled at any time. "The membership will bill $12.95 per month until you decide to cancel by emailing ********************************, calling ****************, messaging us on social media, or cancel easily via your membership dashboard."
There is also another mention of the membership/recurring billing as well as our terms and conditions on the sign-up page between where you enter your card information and the "Enter Now" button: "By clicking "enter now" below, I certify that I am 18 years of age or older and agree to Restomods Media Inc Terms and Conditions of this purchase. Will rebill at $12.95 every month until cancelled by contacting support here. As a bonus each additional month gets you more entries. 100% Secure & Safe Payments".
You should have also received a "welcome email" after signing up which confirms the membership, as well as provides you with a login to access your account and view your discounts/benefits. This email acts as both the receipt for the membership signup as well as a direct link to get logged in (at which point you can cancel the membership yourself right on the account page).
I see that you've already contacted our customer service team who was able to get your membership cancelled and refunded for you, which we have no problems with. If you want to enter for a chance to win the Chevelle with a one-time purchase, you're welcome to make a purchase for some merchandise (t-shirts, hoodies, hats, car parts, etc.), which earns you entries based on the dollar amount spent at checkout, and is not attached to any recurring billing. As a sweepstakes, we also offer multiple free methods of entry, which include opting in to our SMS marketing, adding a car to your "my garage" on your profile, and more if you check out our official rules: **************************************.Review from Matt J

Restomods is an amazing company with great products. I have been a customer for several years since their first car give-away. You can purchase merchandise that will give you more tickets to be entered into a car give-away ever few months. You will not find a better shirt around. Great fit and super soft. They offer great products with a small markup that allows you a chance to win a car with cash. Its not a bad trade off considering most retail doesn't offer any incentive for sold items. The quality is there that makes the prices worth it. Its better odds than the lotto or a scratch off ticket. Highly recommend.Review from Gary F

Ive never had a problem with Restomods or the sweepstakes. Its a chance you take like any other. It seems that just because some people enter or order products its an automatic win, it doesnt work like that. Unfortunately you cant please everyone. Keep up the good work.Review from Aspen B

Requires membership ie subscription. Isnt this against sweepstakes laws? There is an option to mail in a sweeps entry so NO but I couldn't find any info on how many times a person can enter.Restomods Response

I've tried repeatedly to reach out to them to stop my subscription way back in ending 2020 to as well pretty much every year since but like clockwork they still deduct my account. I understand I didn't read what I was getting into, buy I've called them to let my situation with my cancer and everything else I was going through to please cancel my subscription to no avail even went to the website to cancel and I've screenshot every time I reached out to them to cancel many times throughout the years.. I've contacted my credit card and disputed payments, even changed my CC# but they still manage to charge my account. Don't know what else to do ?? I recommend reading all info to this subscription, before joining if you're not wanting to have a lifetime subscription..
