On Jan 6 I ordered two dresses from this company. The items are low quality, ill fitting, and do not in any way match the size chart online. They are unwearable. The company does not allow any returns for refund. I ordered the smallest size and therefore exchanging for a different size is not an option. Just a couple of days after this purchase, the credit card used to buy the dresses was compromised. Of note, the address of the company online is for a store in **********, but the items ship from ***** and get relabeled and sent to the customer. This company is a scam.Initial Complaint

I have found out that this business is a complete scam. I ordered a dress and somehow, the wrong size was finalized upon ordering, so I immediately reached out to customer support that same day and never got a response. I then decided to just exchange the dress for the correct size because the dress I received is as expected, entirely too small. When I reached out to customer support to start the exchange on 11/19/23 via email, someone only responded to tell me that I could not get a refund (which I never asked for at this point), but never responded to my follow up email merely minutes later (in the same email thread) again asking to start an EXCHANGE.I emailed again on 11/21/23 asking to start an exchange while I am still eligible per their return policy, but have yet to get a response. Per their policy, you cannot send back an item for an exchange until someone from customer support sends you an RMA number.I then checked other online reviews for this online shop, and quickly realized that many others have experienced the same issue in the last 6 months to a year with this boutique and have also been scammed out of their money. The customer support number does not work, and no one is responding to people's emails when asking to start an exchange. At this point, if possible, I would just like a refund despite their policy because this is clearly a scam operation and I do not trust this business to send me the correct sizing if they decide to send me anything at all, since some customers complained about never even receiving their purchase in the first place.Initial Complaint

I ordered a dress from this website I received my order 3 weeks and the product was significantly different than advertised. The dress was petite and was obviously a knock-off of another brand. The quality was very low, material not as described the dress did not even have a tag and packaging was stamped from *****. This website is a scam. It sells garments at extremely high costs and the material is very cheap. This garment does not fit anyone. The company did not respond to phone calls or messages.Initial Complaint

I ordered the product with express shipping (3-7 days) and its been 3 weeks with no shipping update. I dont even need the product anymore and want my money back. If I cannot receive my money back then Id like the product to be delivered as well as a refund for the express shipping. Their phone line is disconnected and I keep receiving automated email responses.Initial Complaint

On April 12, 2023 my daughter ordered a dress from this company for her prom which was taking place on May 20, 2023. The charge was $181.00 We never received the dress and the company did not respond to any emails or answer their phone. I tried contacting them several times. I filed a dispute with my credit card company on May 2nd. This company waited until the very last day of the deadline to respond to the dispute. The company stated that it was delivered to my mailbox. It was not. Maybe delivered to someone's mailbox but not mine. My credit card company ruled in favor of the Sepia Boutique. I feel this company is very shady and fraudulent and I want to let consumers know not to give up their hard earned money to this unscrupulous business. Ultimately I would like a refund as I paid $181 for a dress I don't have. Thank you.Initial Complaint

I placed an order on Sepa Boutique of a gold dress called ***** on March 17th to wear for my birthday dinner and paid for expidited shipping which stated 5-8days but I didn't receive my order until the 28th. Prior to that I emailed them severely to inquire about tracking because I didn't receive any but I didn't get any reply. I emailed them again immediately when I received the dress to complain about what I received because it was not what I had order not even the same material or color shade and if I could be refunded. A representative emailed me and said they do not offer refund only in the case if the item were damaged. They only offer me a an exchange in the same item for a different size. Why will I want the same item that I emailed to complain about that wasn't even the Item that I ordered in the first place? It makes no sense. I emailed them explaining my frustration that it made no sense to want an exchange for the same item I didn't want. That last emailed was sent since March 28th and I still haven't gotten any response. Order# S652234295 Amount $164.10 on March 17th. On 3/30/2023, I paid $157.00 to Sepia Boutique for a red dress listed on the website. The reviews stated the dress has stretch and was quality.Upon receiving the dress, there was no stretch and there were multiple threads hanging from stitching on the zipper, rendering the dress defective. Furthermore, there was no packing slip or any indication in the bag that it was my order.I immediately after inspecting contacted the business and have attempted to contact several times to resolve this matter. I am happy to pay return shipping, I just want my refund for the falsely advertised and defective dress.
