I purchased the Jardinico 7.5' Square ********** Umbrella ******* JCP101-23S (Order #*********, SKU: JCP101-23S; Natte Grey Chine (*****); *********** (MW) - Special Order) from Patio Productions on August 4, 2021. On October 21, 2021, the umbrella was delivered without the base, even though I had paid for it and it was supposedly a "special order." Patio Productions blamed the manufacturer and then shipped the base on October 28, 2021 (Shipping Carrier: https://my.ediexpressinc.com/pro_pu_trace.asp; Tracking/Pro Number: *********). The base has become progressively looser and beginning October 23, 2022, less than 1 year after delivery, the base is completely detached and no longer holds up the umbrella. A bolt fell out, but I could not replace it because it appears as if another part of the bolt broke inside the base. These umbrellas are very expensive and thus come with a lifetime warranty, so I immediately reached out to Patio Productions. On October 24, 2022, I sent an email with photographs of the base and umbrella that cannot stand upright, as requested by the company's claims department (reference *****, via *******************, Claims). To date, the response has been to try and extract the bolt on my own, despite the warranty that becomes void if I undertake such a repair on my own. As such, I have asked to be connected to legal to no avail. I would like either a new base or a certified repair technician to fix the issue because I am not willing to void my warranty of such an expensive product. At this point, I have a useless umbrella and despite over a week of emails, we are no closer to an acceptable solution.
